QUOTE(singk @ Apr 12 2015, 03:01 PM) QUOTE(RicoT @ Apr 12 2015, 03:08 PM) No, it is not a good idea, never put lubricant onto the disc brakes! i saw the rust came out from the front ventilated disc brakes' core element, WD-40 can remove the rust, but not apply on the surface of disc brakesIt may help with the rust, but your brakes is the one that stop your car. WD-40 is also a lubricant. Leave the brakes be. |

QUOTE(neroslash @ Apr 12 2015, 08:01 AM) Anyone of you experiencing vibration noise when the car going over uneven road or bump at the red circle part of the pic? It was so obvious for me when the car going thru bad road. Hmmmm... QUOTE(ssaturn @ Apr 12 2015, 08:05 AM) Yup, I facing that issue, still didn't manage to catch where did that happen.. QUOTE(pizzy @ Apr 12 2015, 09:05 AM) Nope don't have sound coming from there. I have sound from the front ceiling part of the car, near where the lights are. It vibrates when I go thru bumps, but when I hold it firm the sound is gone. So I'm gonna ask SC to see if they have a solution for me.I remember someone also mentioned "tick tick" sound from odometer. I don't have that. |

QUOTE(neroslash @ Apr 12 2015, 02:16 PM) yes @shujiro89. the sound should be two pieces of plastic vibrating knocking each other. do experience this? its kinda obvious and annoying Nope, didn have that noise. but hv tick-tack sound from the odometer 5 secs after engine ignition.. this is the relay sound, so can't do anything about it. |

To those who have rusty brakes... Apparently there are brake rotor paints...
http://www.ehow.com/how_7579417_stop-rotors-rusting.html By the way, normally, rust only gets built up on the rotor surface when the car is not used for a whole day or 2 as your brake pad would remove the rusts for you unless you don't use the brakes. On the sides is normal but shouldn't occur so soon. Suggest to seek advice from SC 1st since still under warranty. This post has been edited by t3chn0m4nc3r: Apr 13 2015, 08:47 AM |

Also, the disc rotors will be changed when the brake pads changed 2 to 3 times due to the thinning of brake rotors.http://www.ehow.com/how_7579417_stop-rotors-rusting.html By the way, normally, rust only gets built up on the rotor surface when the car is not used for a whole day or 2 as your brake pad would remove the rusts for you unless you don't use the brakes. QUOTE(anttan @ Apr 13 2015, 09:02 AM) Dear M2 owner, It has been discussed a lot already. If you need a family car Honda City is ur car, if you want sportiness, M2 is ur car, if you want empty value for money den Almera is ur car, if you are Toyota fan boy den Vios is God car. I am looking for a B segment car, interesred with M2. But is it worth to buy comparr with Vios and City? Appreciate your expert analysis. QUOTE(RicoT @ Apr 13 2015, 09:03 AM) I usually just change the rotor as it can last about 2-3 years for me. This post has been edited by t3chn0m4nc3r: Apr 13 2015, 09:18 AM |

Last weekend went to KL. Very save fuel vehicle... i use about 60 ringgit from pg-->kl-->pg .. Still remember my Myvi have to use about Rm100 for 2 way. and the driving experience awesome.. Just the wind noise very noisy when it reach the speed of 140-150.. but i believe this can be improve by installing sound proof.. i very delight with this car CHEER~~..

last Monday i was going home from office, raining, no street lights(maybe down due to lighting strike), speed about 90-100km/h, the motorcycle in front on the left lane suddenly cut out immediately after giving out signal
totally impressed with the car, literally horse and rider as one |
