I am thinking of cancelling too, if my SA really go back on her words, she chase me so fast for loan approval, now I chase her for car, now I can feel her trembling in fear cannot deliver the car.  laugh.gif

For your case, if your loan is approved, but you haven't pay any downpayment right? Only booking fee. You can cancel without any problem. No harm to you, and you can get back your deposit, I believe, give them reason like you want a bigger car now because your family moved into your house for whatever funny reason you can give. Try go to Setia Alam Mazda, or Old Klang Road Mazda, they are desperate for sales, RM500 discount upon first enquiry and RM500 booking fee now.
*
I asked mazda setia alam before, they dam kedekut giving free stuff. Initially ask for full tank petrol they say only can give half tank. I told them I will think about it and 1 week later only he sms me give rm500 rebate and that time already paid my booking fee with mazda premacy botanic klang with full tank, umbrella, mazda bag, rm500 3m tinting, mini tyre pump....

Finally had to refill today.

* Fuel type: Shell RON95
* Duration from last refill to current refill: 11 days (Friday Apr 3, 2015 - Tuesday Apr 14, 2015)
* Litres filled for current refill: 37 litres
* Total distance travelled since last refill (agak-agak): 460km
* Mileage per litre: 12.43km per litre
* My thoughts: Pretty damn amazing
Btw, its almost time for me do my 1000km service. Since this is my first time doing this, I was hoping you guys can help me with these questions.

Q1: How long does the service take usually? (Wanna know if I can schedule an appointment before work)

Q2: Should I just let the SC person check and change things as he deems fit or should I request for specific things like synthetic engine oil (not sure about this, how much do they charge?)

Q3: Anything I should know before going for the service?

Appreciate any tips you guys can give me, thanks guys.
*
q1) for my case is less than 30 minutes

q2) they got a list of things to do, so he checked tyre pressure, refill windscreen wiper water, check battery, chg semi synthetic oil which is free ( fully synthetic shell helix ultra have to top up rm 111), change oil filter, and some sc offer car wash....

q3) make an appointment and bring ur service booklet...

Thank you so much for the help! This was super useful.  laugh.gif

So I have the option of topping up for a fully synthetic engine oil then? Is it better? or semi synthetic good enough already?
*
on paper say fully synthetic is better, but my bro ask me to discover this myself. So he ask me to put semi now first and see how to FC like then next service put fully synthetic and test again. so driving style have to be the same la to test both the engine oil... if not much diff then stick to the free semi la...

is it? I hv not try that. But I heard it happen to almost every m2, just some its not very obvious like ours D= Zzz.. I did tried few test units and it only happen 1/10 times and jerking is not as obvious too.
*
I drive manual cars all my life and I'm very sad to drive auto with this car ( since no manual variant). Driving manual will definitely solve all this jerking problems ( unless u got terrible manual driving skills). No matter what technology or how powerful, the auto transmission will always have a limitation. I do not know why the Malaysian market demand for auto more when real drivers drive manual!!!!! That is just my only complain or regret about this car!!!

Not many manual car market for Malaysian because of the traffic condition loh. European still selling lot of manual car. It's still the best feeling to drive manual.

I miss that stick.

Country like Indonesia have more population and worst traffic condition than Malaysia and yet they have manual variant for M2!!! It's not fair....
For me, once in a while I got to drive my mum's saga to make sure I still got the manual reflex....

resale value of auto transmission car is better than manual doh.gif
*
well coz when buying manual cars is cheaper than auto so the price is fair la. Summore market demand for auto in Malaysia is higher, therefore not many Malaysian will know how to drive a Ferrari, lambo, porche if they were given these car for free coz forget how to drive manual already. I still have the dream of driving these cars so that's why I must maintain my manual reflex!!! biggrin.gif
