Belly fat will happen when there is a calorie surplus, even if the person if working out or not. When a person who working out have a large calorie deficit, some of the calorie goes to building the muscle and some of them are turn to fat.

There is a reason why some bodybuilder opted for a slow bulk method where they consume not so much calorie surplus so that fat won't build up on their body.

What are you waiting for, read up the pinned thread at the bodybuilding section. Start look out and follow strict diet plan. There's workout plan for gaining mass too.

this was my weight gain plan last year, from 60kg to 68kg in 1 month.
Mixed with some pushup's and dumbell weights, when I came bk to malaysia for holidays I was buffed.

Morning
4 breads with peanut butter
half can of red beans
3 scrambled eggs

In between have some snacks such as fruits, banana.

Afternoon
Rice (alot of rice) + vegetable (brocolli, cabbage) + 2 drumsticks.

Evening ( workout ) mon, wed, fri.

Night
Rice (alot of rice) + vegetable (brocolli, cabbage) + 2 drumsticks.

Before sleep 11pm eat 3 egg whites.

12am sleep.

The diet only suitable for you if and only if that it can provide you a calorie surplus. Sure, you can follow his diet to a T but everyone have a different metabolism thus different calorie maintenance. Just eat healthy food as long as it is over your calorie maintenance and you'll grow.

I can see that it is quite a healthy normal diet; better than eating junk food and fast foods except that, eat the egg yolk biggrin.gif

Trust me buddy. I was like you. Always think it is impossible. Tried many things but end up still skinny until I read about calories surplus/deficit etc. Try to understand your body first before you want to gain weight. It's hard at first but after that you will get use to it. And the result, AMAZING thumbup.gif

gaining weight takes a lot of dedication and most importantly time.
You can say that I force feed myself into eating the same thing for 1 month.
For the first week or so I'm like "not bad", second week and so on...

I just calculated that I needed 2.5kcal per day.
I'm 20, 175CM & 48KG.

Any recommendation on meals & weight gain protein supps.?

Requires a lot of hard work and patience too. But in the same time you got to eat healthy foods and follow strict diet plan.

Split into several portions and not necessary to follow meal plan concept. Do read out the diet/workout thread in the bodybuilding section, there are several diet plan and you can post yours too for review.

Thank god that you notice it because you know that you need to do some extensive reading about it, don't you? I'll always say that I'm dumb, it makes me want to find lots of knowledge so that I wouldn't call myself dumb on a particular subject.

p.s: no offence man. just saying that you need to read if you want to get to your goal. without knowledge, you will become like a blind man trying to navigate a map.
