However, what I'm more concern of is your reply at 4:53AM . Insomnia again I suppose ? Looks like first impressions can be deceiving. |

When you have underlying issues, then dont work out on an empty stomach.

I take milk and whey when I get back. Do a bit of work. Settle everything so that boss don't call me if I drag it. Then go eat morning pre-soaked oats. After another 2 hours, get some eggs in. After another 2 hours, get some vege in. Time to eat oats now. |

People said it is easy to reach daily protein needs with just foods.
So it is important to calculate the macros and daily protein requirement to avoid wasting money on whey protein. But one thing I don't understand, the whey protein is advertised as a supplement for post workout , it will provide protein for the muscles exactly after workout for it to grow. This is because it take time for body to extract the protein from other food specs. So by drinking whey protein actually accelerate the muscle growth even when We already reached our daily protein needs? Because it come in the the right moment and timing. Hence, I wanna know the gurus opinion on this. This post has been edited by MasBoleh!: Oct 27 2017, 06:11 PM |

QUOTE(MasBoleh! @ Oct 27 2017, 06:10 PM) People said it is easy to reach daily protein needs with just foods. It depends. Pre workout nutrition can also serve as a post workout nutrition if timed right. If your last meal was more than 3 hours preworkout, strongly suggest you have whey on hand. There, nutrient timing would kind of matter. But if you're well fed and time your pre workout meal right within 1-2 hours, don't be in a rush to drink down that whey shake. Thank you so much. And imo, whey shouldn't be considered a supplement. It should be labeled under food. So, let me get this right, you are saying Whey Protein which is a Protein Shake, which is generally been called as a supplement , are suppose to be labeled as a type of food instead of a supplement. Am I right? |
