Just called toll free and they said all the package is same speed.

But you will have to sign a new 24 months contract with them right?

Maxis upgraded internet quota for HP customers,
will maxis double the speed for fibre home internet with same monthly price ? Any insider news?

Maxis fibre home quota is unlimited like unifi.

The quota you see on ur account portal is indicate which package you subscribed, it never throttle down the speed even you exceed the quota.

I just updated from old 30Mbps to new MaxisOne Fibre 50Mbps. The upgrade was done by last Friday and after that I found the download is around 50Mbps,but upload speed is only around 20Mbps.I reported it and today I received a call from their technician saying that for 50Mbps plan,the upload will be capped at 20Mbps;100Mbps plan,the upload will be capped at 50Mbps.

Ahhh.... They lied, last Saturday I just called their hotline and they said download/upload will be the same, OMG how can you MAXIS lied!

I don't know whether it's Maxis lies or customer service officer doesn't know the latest movement or the technician called me just gave me the wrong info because till now I can't get any black and white showing it. I also wrote an email complaining to MCMC about what I face for the upgrade. Now waiting for Maxis and MCMC to reply.

I upgraded mine to 50 Mbps.

It is not correct. My upload speed is always between 40 to 50 Mbps since last Friday. I do speedtest every day.

probably a trick for 50mb?

I got 20mb upload and download few months back till now.

So I now ask for clarification from maxis with the pressure from mcmc. Waiting for reply and will update here.

All prices standardised to all customers. Only benefit if u are maxis one plan user to get RM1 deal for the Chromecast / WiFi extender.
