Just update ur guys who might wanna know:

I received a call from a higher rank Maxis personnel.She told me that she acknowledged the complaint to MCMC. She told me that the speed for both download and upload should be the same, however ,best effort basis applied. She said that no speed could be guaranteed as it could be affected by multiple reasons, maybe the infra limitation or others. But when I asked why your technician told me that 20Mbps for upload is normal,she replied nothing but the official wordings again and again. So I asked her to reply in email so that I have black and white to refer. Till now I haven't yet any and the speed hasn't been adjusted either.

I will update here further if got any progress.

The personnel told me that she will arrange a team of technicians to try their best to solve the issue,but she didn't guarantee anything. This morning I contacted with the CS for update,they said they will get back to me next week.

As per my understanding, it will be:

10Mbps = DL & UP: 10Mbps.

30Mbps = DL & UP: 30Mbps.

50Mbps = DL: 50Mbps, UP: 20Mbps.

100Mbps = DL: 100Mbps, UP: 50Mbps.

Call maxis fibre CS yesterday and got two different answers on the iflix package. One said it's just for 3 months and another said it was for 12 months.
They should get their message right and publish it online too.

Information not correct. I am on 50 Mbps plan and my download and upload speed are consistently between 40 to 50 Mbps.

I am subscribed to the 50 Mbps and tonight I am getting 90 Mbps upload and download speed .. Maxis must be testing something to give us the extra speed tonight. Normally I get about 40+ Mbps upload and download speed on my 50 Mbps package.

My original modem from few years ago has some problems with ethernet ports so I called Maxis and they replace the modem with a new one for free.

However, with the new modem, I often get disconnected from the WiFi and I realize there is an extra SSID of my WiFi. For example my SSID is "HomeWifi", sometimes there is one extra network named "HomeWifi 2".

How is this possible and why? Is there a way to disable it?

Well, I can confirm torrent is throttle during peak hours. You have to leave your pc overnight if you want to torrent. After 2AM, it will run at full speed.
