QUOTE(liciece @ Nov 22 2016, 08:21 PM) I just updated from old 30Mbps to new MaxisOne Fibre 50Mbps. The upgrade was done by last Friday and after that I found the download is around 50Mbps,but upload speed is only around 20Mbps.I reported it and today I received a call from their technician saying that for 50Mbps plan, the upload will be capped at 20Mbps;100Mbps plan, the upload will be capped at 50Mbps. [attachmentid=8108550] I upgraded mine to 50 Mbps. It is not correct. My upload speed is always between 40 to 50 Mbps since last Friday. I do speedtest every day.

QUOTE(Quanta @ Nov 28 2016, 08:04 AM) The 30Mbps and 50Mbps upload do not make sense ... Information not correct. I am on 50 Mbps plan and my download and upload speed are consistently between 40 to 50 Mbps.

I am subscribed to the 50 Mbps and tonight I am getting 90 Mbps upload and download speed .. Maxis must be testing something to give us the extra speed tonight. Normally I get about 40+ Mbps upload and download speed on my 50 Mbps package.

QUOTE(jusbella @ Dec 4 2016, 02:22 PM) Mine was increased as well. I wonder why do we need such a high credit limit for our Fiber and home telephone account? Fiber rate is already fixed and free local calls.

QUOTE(liciece @ Dec 6 2016, 05:27 PM) I just received an email regarding to inadequate upload speed issue from Maxis. Yes, the cs staff confirmed that 50Mbps=DL 50Mbps;UL 20Mbps. For 100Mbps plan, I got that answer when talking to another cs officer days ago. [attachmentid=8218687] I think either the CS gave incorrect info or the speed depends on your area. I am on 50 Mbps since Nov 18 and I do speedtest every night. I always get between 40 Mbps to 50 Mbps download and upload speed.

QUOTE(wanttotree @ Dec 24 2016, 10:39 AM) hey guys, seems like maxis has been doing pretty well these days after reading through this forum. I do have an experiment for u guys to check out. instead of doing speedtest.net, why dont u guys go try fast.com instead. Post your screenshot. fast.com is a speedtest server by netflix. it actually measure speed for your streaming especially for netflix. i am looking into maxis fiber 50mbps or 100mbps depends on your feedback here guys. A heavy netflix streamer here(i have nothing againts other streaming/downloading service btw). Thanx a ton in advance. I am on Maxis 50 Mbps package. I did the speed test on fast.com and it showed 81 Mbps. On speedtest.net, my upload speed is 51 Mbps and download speed is 42 Mbps. So, fast.com shows a faster speed.

QUOTE(wanttotree @ Dec 24 2016, 08:55 PM) wow! what a great start! thanx for the feedback man. So i assume u never had any problem with streaming 4k on youtube and netflix(if u use one). I am struggling with unifi, had to restart the router to get certain ip to get good streaming speed. other than that its always 10-13mbps on netflix but full 50mbps speed anywhere else. can i get more ppl to provide feedback? any other thing i should be aware of before i cancel my less than 2yr unifi account? I do stream 4k on youtube. Don't watch netflix. I have been using Maxis Fibre for 2.5 years and no issues so far. Luckily no issue coz my place only have Maxis Fiber.

QUOTE(syk @ Sep 8 2018, 01:08 PM) Just got my new router (TP-Link Archer C5v) from Maxis. It is far better than Thompson & Amina. Think I can sell off my D-Link DSL-G2452DG. My router was upgraded from Thompson to Amina when I signed up for Maxis Prime a year ago. As you are aware, Maxis Prime has a "guaranteed" connection because when your fiber line is done, the 4G sim card inside the Amina router will kick-in and connect to 4G cellular. I was told that this new TP-Link Archer router has no slot for the 4G sim card like the Amina?
