Guys, I know today is the ASW2020 open for purchasing the shares and all units are already sold out. I want to help my aunt to open an account ASW2020 for her. Ordinary day can we open it at Bank?

Ordinary day can we open it at Bank? AFAIK, you must buy lot in order to open an account. I was told at the post office that it is not allowed to open an "empty account" |

Of course we need to credit in some money inside of the account. I meant open an account with some money inside. The question is CAN I OPEN AN ACCOUNT FOR THE ASW2020 FOR RM1 OR MORE, IF ALL THE UNITS ARE SOLD OUT AT NORMAL OFFICE HOURS WITH NO PROMOTION OR OTHERS

personally standing as a chinese here, i dont think it is 2nd citizen thing issue. this is out from the issue.
if you look at the people in the que , you will realize that 80-90% are actually non bumi. dont get me wrong, look at the truth yourself. |

Wait and save until july lo i guess.
Got 1 question though, if someone actually sells some units, and those units are becomes "floating" units and available to be bought right? If I am to gamble on that chance, do i need to go to the bank / post office everyday to enquire whether are there any available units for buying? |

Here is something to ponder
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=...67178&sec=focus QUOTE Tuesday April 28, 2009 Make 1Malaysia more than mere slogan OUR Prime Minister has come up with the 1Malaysia concept to provide a way forward for Malaysia so that we can remain competitive with other countries, especially our Asean neighbours. The just announced scrapping of the 30% bumi equity quota for some service sub-sectors should bring in new investment, new technology and new management expertise from foreign and local investor for the benefit of all Malaysians. However, the recent ASM investment scheme along racial quota is a slap in the face for all Malaysians who think 1Malaysia is a marked change in government policies. We can all live with ASN and ASB which are for bumis only as a scheme of social restructuring. However, ASM has provided an avenue for all Malaysians to pull their financial resources for the development of the country. The allotted Chinese quota has all been snapped up on the second day of the launch, while the other quotas have been poorly subscribed. Why do we still impose racial quotas when we need the financial resources of all Malaysians to get through this global turmoil? Remove the quota and let all Malaysians help pull the country out from the mess created by the developed nations. Let 1Malaysia be a reality and not just a slogan. PROUD MALAYSIAN, Penang. |

I just subscribe it last friday. Depends on your luck only whether you get it or not. |
