ASM new release 1b units on Monday. Wonder how long it will take to fully subscribe (public portion), 1? 2? 3days?
Added on November 28, 2008, 8:30 am QUOTE(darkknight81 @ Nov 27 2008, 10:31 PM) My another concern on ASW is that it is solely invest in local listed company like : True, but their (those stocks) dividend yield still quite ok. new units actually riding on old unit who get the stock with price much lower TENAGA, TELEKOM, YTL, GAMUDA, MAYBANK, CIMB, RHB, PUBLIC BANK, YTL POWER, BAT, NESTLE ... You may face the single country risk on INVESTMENT. That's why it's call wawasan mah, if wawasan achieved, great, if wawasan so so, still ok, if wawasan failed, can go U-tapao... QUOTE(nlks @ Dec 2 2008, 04:16 PM) after promotion period we can top up as much as we want? After the 10k I think there is still another cap for individual, maybe 200k for total holding or something like that. Someone please check it out. now I also confuse.. how can we top up if there is no more quota/offer from PNB? |

QUOTE(Secret_Garden @ Dec 2 2008, 05:45 PM) My mistake, only ASB got limit Added on December 2, 2008, 6:52 pm QUOTE(nlks @ Dec 2 2008, 05:52 PM) Hello I got a question here, Not many people have 20k spare money to invest in the span of 3 days does this ASM got quota for bumi or non bumi also? I know ASW 51% is for Bumi and 49% is for non-bumi, how about ASM? I think maybe ppl just invested into ASW so ASM come later slow abit?? This post has been edited by htt: Dec 2 2008, 06:52 PM |

QUOTE(gstrapinuse @ Dec 5 2008, 04:38 PM) That one charge from the unit directly annually (check their annual report). They didn't charge when buy/ sell, PBB charge around 5% when you buy their unit trust, annually another 1% or so. No one will work for free |

QUOTE(bluffy83 @ Dec 31 2008, 03:06 AM) Anyway ASB still the one with CAPITAL protected and nice interest. Yeah for sure they will invest in other things that will give more return. But ASB still will be in their list. Its almost like FREE money u know. No RISK and the best interest + bonus so far here in Malaysia. I make my statement if this Kiyosaki lives here in Malaysia right? maybe u just to pump when u read his "poor dead rich dead". Take it slowly bro. Anyway Merry Chrismas & Happy new Year! If I am bumi, I will take loan to buy, pay interest with dividend. That's all I can say. Just my 2 cents.Anyway, I am not, so equal to empty talk only. Happy new year. |

QUOTE(bluffy83 @ Dec 31 2008, 09:27 AM) Even though I am not quite agree with u about taking loan for ASB. Care to share the best Loan rate for ASB so far? Which Bank? Maybe we need more research on this matter. Anyone? I am not very sure about the rate, because I am not eligible for the unit at the first place.Uoh ya. Merry Christmass! Malaysia BLR at 6% now I think, so I guess loan at 6.5% should be quite reasonable, wild guess only. But if I am bumi, most likely I would refinance my home to get fund for that, much lower rate. Just my 2 cents. And not everyone have the same risk appetite, exercise your own judgment for any investment & financing method. |

QUOTE(bluffy83 @ Jan 2 2009, 04:28 PM) Can someone teach me how to use Overdraft (OD) for ASB? Its quite tricky.. but even we dont know how to really utilize it, I think we still can gain profit if we put all the money we have at OD in our ASB right? Of course if ASB dividend was higher than OD Interest. Personally don't think that's good idea to take short term loan like OD for longer period investment like ASB, risk too high. I think OD interest subject to periodic review one also, if not mistaken.Feel like to twist my neck.. this really something new for me. Heard someone talk about it at kedai kopi.. Neverthough it was a real deal Just my 2 cents, you might need to do more homework on that. |

QUOTE(darkknight81 @ Jan 31 2009, 08:30 PM) i have been asw and asm holder for the past 10 years... Aiya, they bought them 10 years ago, while price still low, and they have reserve from previous years to distribute during bad time also. Worry too much get old very fast I have one concern though.... if you really go and study the stock they invested... you can see it is very unlikely they can have 7 - 8% return in dividend out of these stocks....Most of the counter like tenaga, ijm and so on do not pay high dividend.. so what is the logic behind we can enjoy such a high dividend? Have you ppl think of these? My concern is.... maybe asw or asm are being supported and don know how long they can withstand.... |

QUOTE(dannybrazil @ Apr 22 2009, 12:10 PM) You still have slim chances to top up if you go before Monday (if got seller), go Monday almost certain can get. Better wait until Monday, else you might just waste your time there. I presume you are non-bumi and the case might be for non-bumi only. |

QUOTE(soul2soul @ Apr 23 2009, 02:45 PM) I think it's fair. you can see the amount of cash among the malays and indians... obviously not so much.... The government wants to give them time to buy also mah... One thing to notice is, our government had been in red for years, never come out. So when we laugh at US, we forgot we are similar to them (government only, Malaysian kedekut). Give and take.... |
