i read that the ASW 2020 (bumi lots) will NOT open for non-bumi. May i ask if there is any offical confirmation on this?

as for ASM, i read from newspaper that it will be released d bumi lots for non-bumi on july. of course, with assumption the bumi does not filled up the quota.

Depend how you judge it.. Malaysian people are unique you know. There's 90% many more will do that or maybe just sit there and watch.? Then finish baru la you there get angry.? I've been queue for 3 years and buy nothing is that fair enough.? Chill out ok...

Just be patient and calm down man.. The next ASM/ASW sale will be very soon (maybe 3-6 months?) since our "One Msia" Govt are so desperate for money

90%??? pls get ur facts rite...if malaysians are as teruk as u think, there won't be ppl queuing up already. just coz u n the few others around u do it, doesnt mean it augurs well with the other 90% of population. i wouldnt be furious if everybody queued up fair n square n i didnt get a share of it. its just dat i'm pretty much annoyed coz not only did ppl like u cut queue, u guys seem to be very proud of it dat u managed to obtain a slice of asw2020 via this method (read the earlier posts).

I think at Maybank and CIMB, yes. Only 1 staff is doing the whole Amanah Saham thing. But at the RHB branch i went to last week to open my very first ASM account, there were 4 staff handling everything related to ASM.


The world is not fair. What to do I do not agree with what banana did but spare him as he is not the only one doing this. I however agree with him that we must play smart in this super unfair world.

In this case, only the bank can help you by enforcing some rules. For example the CIMB Branch in Api-api Centre Kota Kinabalu has a staff near the number kiosk to make sure 1 number for 1 account transaction or 1 new account opening. So this should make sure their policy on the first come first serve basis.


100% confirmed it won't open to non-Bumiputra. The official confirmation would be PNB official website which clearly states that ASW2020 is 51% reserved for Bumiputra and 49% for non-Bumiputra.
