If it supports VLAN tagging then should not be an issue to use it as the only router, otherwise you might need to use something like a Mikrotik switch to do the VLAN tagging while the Xiaomi router does the normal routing job.
*
Im not sure abt what is VLAN tagging, if i only use internet (i.e. i don use the Hypp TV).
so am i able use a router without VLAN tagging for Unifi, i.e. don need to use the Mikrotik switch
Thx for the input

take the rm209. if u miss this, u may not get a better package. assuming u want a mix of hypp's english best - variety, news, kids, movies, tv series, sports.

I know the 209 is a good deal but not applicable to me. I have astro package rm169 and parents need it. Hypptv is ignored..

Anyone else having their net disconnected every 30-40 minutes lately? I can safely rule out the possibility of my router overheating, since it was running on 45c max. I even tried to cool down the BTU unit by putting the notebook fan under it, but to no avail. doh.gif

VIP 20 here. sigh

for anyone who want a reliable router, try TPLink WDR4300.Dual band ,N speed ,and quite stable.

More budget can go for ASUS RTN66U,RTN18U.

So far these 3 are my favourite.

U can buy AC routers, but still expensive for most of us.

DLink can't stand severe usage rolleyes.gif

u jump ship also will still be the same if u use maxis...basically maxis using the same port as unifi, what does that make a difference? if problem on the line, the same thing will crop up....

unless u go for abnxcess lol.........which is worse, or time fiber...
