hi, any 1 cancel unifi before? wish to know any procedure? jsut walk in fill up the cancellation form will do? my 2 years contract jsut end this month. i am going to maxis home fiber later on as per current maxis promotion.

also, do i need to return all tm modem / tvbox / wat ever? or they will come and collect or those belongs to me already?

Bump, I've applied and being on the waiting list since June last year, have yet to hear anything from them.
What's worse is, my area got no telephone line, so applied for Streamyx as well, and also being on the waiting list.

wanted to change my unifi original TM router which been using for more than 2 years. anyone can recommend a cheap and good to use router.

is the XiaoMi router working for Malaysia Unifi?

Got call from them last Dec 2014. but I said will wait for new 2015 promotion.

Try to call back the no. that they called me last time, is general TM line.

If it supports VLAN tagging then should not be an issue to use it as the only router, otherwise you might need to use something like a Mikrotik switch to do the VLAN tagging while the Xiaomi router does the normal routing job.

I thought Unifi much better than Maxis FTTH, what promo makes u decided to do so?

yes, been with unifi for the last 2 years, the service is consistent, i think my area nvr hv line down issue, once a while i only need restart modem for no reason. i think past 2 years less then 10 times also, cant remember.

my wife using maxis 1 plan rm128, she entitle subscribe for maxis home fiber with rm20 discount rate so the home fiber 10mbps will cost rm128 monthly. currently mine is vip5, i was thinking can save more some more double up the speed. why not

but i check the home fiber forum got complaint about the service down at some klang valley area....

I hardly call land line nowadays...all call hp only. So since got charges, I use hand phone to call them . I don even remember my unifi phone number..

Main complaint so far for Maxis is the throttling of certain usage like torrents etc during peak hours.

which one using realtek chipsets? google dun find the info..tq

I read that the throttling is from 8pm-2pm at 50%? So I guess its not that bad. Depends on individual I guess

8pm - 2am at 50 or 100kbps (10%) speed...
Btw, u can resume dload frm 2am - 8pm, still ok what...
