Can you define what you mean by "slow"?

Because I live in Equine and face frequent random disconnection and sudden speed drop from 5MBS to as low as 0.5 MBPS regularly.

Not sure if its my modem or Unifi's problem. Was looking to replace my router until I saw this post of yours.

slow connection from 10Mb to 2Mb..but i found out my setup caused that...got it solved by myself though tongue.gif btw i'm using asus rt n12hp..not using the stock router...

i think rm169 only offered to users in highrise with intense competition with time and/or maxis.

other places with unifi monopoly, no chance.
*
my house is landed and my current package is VIP10@RM169...my friend lives in apartment and only got the RM179 offer...another difference is i've been subscribing to unifi since march/april 2010 while my friend since 2011 iinm...

i think it was a statement not a question...only the router can connect to the BTU..the router will do the internet dialing from its WAN > BTU LAN 1...have you tried to connect using router's LAN port?

Aaa... i cant direct connect to that fiber modem? ok ok ... so i can use cable connect to the wireless modem and test the speed from there?

Great thanks for that, if I need it installed sooner would expect TM point is the option as it could take days for someone to contact me via online application.

I have this problem after terminate my account and apply new account. Once I select my new address and select for NIRC, TM detected me is exiting user. But once I log in using my previous account, it not able to proceed and it stated Sorry, we are unable to proceed at the moment. This error could be due to loss of connection to the server, please try again later.
Can any one help?

Anyone received offer from TM regarding upgrade from RM149 5Mbps to RM169 10Mbps?

Is this a one time thing or is the price already reduced in the first place?

EDIT: saw someone getting the same offer. Guess it's for selected customers or because current contract ended lol.

received around 2-3 years ago..lol laugh.gif

That means will be paying additional RM 10.74?

Currently I'm using 10mbps package, that means I'll be paying RM 189.74 beginning April?

If 10mbps rm199 to rm179... then got special rebate, rm30(rm169 special promo) so 10mbps become 5mbps price(199-20=179, 179-30=149)... i think ok already....hehehe

if we see the bill, under recurring charges, they stated gross for 10mbps there rm199(current price) and then discount rm30.... so i believe in july, the gross become 179... and we still had the special discount...at least for 2 years(due to renew contract....)

hopefully special discount the dont remove for who are already in the special discount promo.... if remove, then need to find lawyer due to breach the contract....
*
yes i hope for this thing as well...clearly stated in the bill the RM30 discount..so by right ppl like us who've already been getting the discount should get lower price than the new RM179..
