well actually 10 is wayyy more than enough for me lol, i dont care for any upgrade anyway. i just play some online games n very rarely download any movies or stuff, just that sometimes games got veryyyyy huge n that take sometime but still for me 10mbps its overpowered XD

[attachmentid=4614764] well the high ping is that im using homeplug, plug straight to router i think u will get around 5-8ms

[attachmentid=4614773][attachmentid=4614774] heres some example of download speed, i think u will get around 6-6.5mb every second

[attachmentid=4614807] well ive try download a bunch of anime 1080p n see how it goes, put on torrent went to bath, after just around 30min ive got all thez files lol

well do we really need this much speed.........  hmm.gif

Wow, from 10Mbps to 50Mbps for free. This is really crazy. sweat.gif
How much are you paying for this?

Why am I always not chosen for this kind of promo? sad.gif

To me the faster the better. laugh.gif I don't care whether it will be under-utilized or anything, knowing myself well. tongue.gif

I was using 60Mbps Maxis broadband for so long until it revoked its unlimited plan, then I only I had no choice but to go UniFi.

If they give me free upgrade to 50Mbps, I'm more than happy. laugh.gif

Funny how people are complaining about Streamyx 5 years ago about slow download speed and now people have too much speed to utilize and don't know what to do with it. laugh.gif

I think TM has improved in terms of quality and speed. Just the pricing now...

Sure or not, TM will have a naked 50/10Mbps package (without any HyppTV) at RM219?
Those that subscribe to 30/50Mbps with HyppTV package now = waste money only if they don't watch HyppTV, if that's the case.

It will cause some rage to early adopters but who cares, TM is still monopolizing this. laugh.gif

they already screwed over those 20mbps users. Though tbh i'm not sure if they can easily upgrade to the newer 30mbps package without having to pay penalty hmm.gif

wah... how you get such a promotion ? You some bigshot ah ohmy.gif

the only thing i ever got from tmnut is just a bunch of spam mail asking me to upgrade. no freebie sad.gif

QUOTE(eternity4av @ Jul 18 2015, 04:24 PM)
If that's included GST, it would be more or less our current VIP20 price. Things are getting interesting nowadays as competition is getting tougher & stiffer. Been heard bad experience on Maxis, was wondering whether do they really got improved? My experience with Unifi from VIP5-10-20 aren't that bad actually. So this would be still the best platform to leverage on.
the only real competition is really just either tmnut unifi or maxis. even though i dislike tmnut, i'd say they tend to be more reliable than maxis :/ then again now maxis has a 100mbps which tmnut doesn't but then again only if you willing to pay through the roof for it rolleyes.gif

time is good, but sadly until now still only condo high rise buildings..... not really sure if their ever going to do the last mile for landed properties .... don't they want to compete with tmnut ?

myrepublic only heard of their interest to come over. also after watching the video regarding broadband prices, now i wonder how realistic rm 60-70 for 100mbps will be. Also what the performance especially would be like. And if thats not enuff, whether mcmc will issue the license for them to operate, and also carry out the LLU to open up the market for them hmm.gif

Realistically speaking, if they were to offer 100mbps at that price, there will be a lot of catch like monthly bandwidth quota or heavy throttling during peak hours.

I believe this will come sooner or later. I'm one of the user got upgraded to from VIP10 (RM199) to VIP20 (RM219/Exclusive GST/without HYPPTV) two years back. So now just sit and wait for the call since my contract is coming to end soon. lol

Heck, I'm not even complaining if you charge me RM 199 (excludes GST) for 50Mbps. tongue.gif

Back to reality and hope they will call me soon for the 30Mbps, I already registered the interest last week. laugh.gif

Unless they do this by invitation basis again while the package offered to public will be the one with HyppTV. hmm.gif
