This is the price they quote. Unifi 30 internet + basic hypptv channel - RM169 (excl. GST) Unifi 50 internet + basic hypptv channel - RM219 (excl. GST) + Jumbo Pack - RM60 (excl. GST) + Call Plan - RM20 (excl. GST) Official launch sometime in September. Can upgrade directly for existing customer with VIP5/10/20 plan. No termination fee. Only contract renewal to 24 months. Edited to correct "internet only" as "internet + basic hypptv channels" after checked with TM sales. |

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Jul 15 2015, 03:21 AM) but it's not like they can instantly make their own fiber. i heard that sometime in 2015 tmnuts hsbb monopoly will end. does that means any isp can then use the hsbb network ? 2015 TM HSBB they will stop deploy another area ???not sure on the technical legal aspects surrounding other isps using the hsbb fiber network at that stage. also will the government okay republics entry ? cheaper faster broadband, whats not to like ? (oh wait, must protect monopolies that mean my area wont get unifi i had waiting my area still no unifi sad i still use streamyx 4mb |

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Jul 15 2015, 09:29 AM) well i think they signed some hsbb expansion part 2 or something, which is 10 years for completion. maybe the progress to expand is still ongoing ? i still waiting past 4years++ still no unifihttp://www.thestar.com.my/Business/Busines...SUBB/?style=biz ![]() ![]() https://www.digitalnewsasia.com/digital-eco...-gets-some-love also don't forget the work on the SKR1M undersea cable to connect the peninsular to borneo with a fiber optic cable ![]() http://www.thestar.com.my/Business/Busines...able/?style=biz so anyway as you can see there is a lot being done atm to improve our national broadband network. But biggest question is, will a company like myrepublic that is planning on offering 100mbps for between rm 60-70 be allowed to operate in malaysia sometime between 205-2018 ? specifically this under the 11th mp if not, then we are screwed my area is Penang Georgetown so i will get HSBB 2 ??? i dont want SUBB |
