QUOTE(AhJetz @ Apr 13 2015, 12:54 PM) Here is what I do when i first have my kitten as well. I will put him in cage during working and sleeping time but he seems to meow forever so when I was at home i try to put him inside the cage and observe him to meow. After awhile, he will pause and quiet for a moment. At that moment i open the cage door let him out and repeat few times until he get the idea of not meowing will get him out but after awhile I decided to just keep him inside one of my toilet with his food, drinks and litter box whenever i was working/sleeping. He meow also when first i close him inside the toilet room but after a week he stop meowing already as he familiar with the time when he can out (morning before i work and evening until night) you don't let your cat sleep with you? Hope this help This post has been edited by spunkberry: Apr 13 2015, 11:23 PM |

QUOTE(spunkberry @ Apr 13 2015, 11:18 PM) My cat is attached to sleeping on my bed with me now, especially with the air-conditioning switched on.She'll walk over me and my comforter sometimes. But she knows her place, with is the bottom right corner of the bed During the day, she's rarely on the bed - she uses her 2 cat beds, 1 in my room and the other in the living room instead. |

Brought my cat to gov vet yesterday. It's already 4 weeks since last visit & especially on the eye drops medicine bottle, it stated discard content 4 week after opening on the label. The vet told me my cat need Terramycin ointment but they don't have & told me I can find it at pharmacy. Hopefully this work.
QUOTE(Farlz_89 @ Apr 11 2015, 12:40 PM) Hi all Im just get kitten 2 days ago Currently he is 2months old Can i just go to vet for vaksin & deworm injection? or i need to wait till he is 3 months old? And can u guys suggest me good & recommended vet around bandar sunway? Thx QUOTE(Farlz_89 @ Apr 14 2015, 08:47 PM) Actually I want to reply but damn semak phone acting up. Actually the connection is acting up but I like to blame semak phone anyway. The best way bring your cat to vet. They will advice you the vaccination schedule for your cat. Some vet don't like to inject to very young kitten. So the initial vaccination schedule may different from one vet to another. QUOTE(popper @ Apr 13 2015, 11:19 AM) how long does a kitten get used to a new home with cage normally? because it's just 3 months old and we have to get her into cage during sleeping time and working time.. she meow like forever inside the cage hardly let it happen just like that>.< The best way in my opinion is let the kitten explore new home by itself. If you worried, probably you can limit your kitten movement in living room. But I understand, some cat owner worry leaving their cat roaming free when they not home.*we just got her yesterday and i haven't got any experience with cats QUOTE(spunkberry @ Apr 14 2015, 10:31 PM) lol. one of my cats likes to sleep between my legs, because she likes leaning against my leg. The other one sleeps leaning next to my chest with my arm around her <33 My cats don't want to sleep with me anymore. They have their favourite spot now. There's only one cat that sleep near me but not with me. |

QUOTE(AhJetz @ Apr 16 2015, 09:16 AM) Yup. I have an outlet near my bedroom door that has all sorts of charging wires coming out of it, and my cats kept chewing on them for a while. Rubbed them all with Tabasco, and now they leave it alone.Wires can always be wiped anyway, if you don't want the Tabasco on there anymore after they've learned to stop. I would like to advise all NEVER buy any cats from Ikano Pet Safari. The idiot (Ricky - old chinese dude with cap) who sold me a kitten told me all sort of lies, etc.
Brought the kitten home and he came down with ringworm and had severe diarrhea for a couple of days. Went there 2 weeks ago, saw a very cute round scottish fold. Went there last night, the scottish fold was still there but with severe eye infection and a very severe case of ringworm on the face. Told Ricky about it and you know what he said? He said the eye was due to playing with other kittens, and that this kitten is very rare and I should buy it ASAP. Absolutely unethical and he has no love whatsoever for any pets. I feel really sorry for that scottish fold right now, last I saw, she was very weak and hiding by herself in the corner. Btw they are selling their cats (scottish folds) at RM4000 per cat. I bought mine home, and within 3 days, the ears stood up. |

Wires can always be wiped anyway, if you don't want the Tabasco on there anymore after they've learned to stop. i tired that, my boy bite on the wire happily. |
