See what drop you use... My cat also got earmites already. Applied the flea drop liao but still got. Afraid that the drop didn't absorb into the skin. Money wasted liao

You need both; tick & flea drop & ear drop. Ear drop sometime available at pet store but if it already in serious condition like inflammation and/or bleeding in the ears, better see vet.

any one having problems with cat nibbling? i know its suppose to be affection, but once they are slightly bigger and teeth sharper, it becomes annoying.

Nibbling of what? "To bite at gently and repeatedly" My cats only do this when I tickle their belly. Also a couple of my kittens like to play & nibble my feet sometime when I walk near them.

fingers and arm. yes to bite gently and repeatedly. but she's 7mths now and her fangs are sharp. i would normally blow in her face to stop her from doing it but she will just try again when i stop blowing.

I got that before. Mine was younger than that. Around 3 - 4 months I think. There is one that actually pretty extreme. Scratched my arms. I just locked her in a room with toys but she will make sound like she want to get out & play. Whenever I have time, I did let her out. I wear bandages on my arms, so that she can bite as hard as she want.

To stop this, this kind of kittens need playmate. This what happen to her. When I put her with another kitten, coincidently around the same age, she is no longer play & bite me. I still remember she was purring non-stop when she meat her playmate. She was really happy. Her playmate did took some time to get along with her though. She was stray cat. If I'm not mistaken she was around 2 months old when I found her, very hungry. Her playmate was born in the house.

hmm she has a playmate. her playmate, a 4 mths old kitten doesn't even do that. infact she doesnt even play rough nor scratch me, unlike the little one who tends to play very rough. but the older one will just nibbles despite her more softer and less aggresive nature.

Look like she is more affectionate toward you than the other kittens. My case is little different because after I introduced my kitten to other kitten, she is more affectionate toward that kitten than me. That's the tricky part I think.

Gamat oil can helps dry out the wound. You just need to prevent the cat from licking the wound for the gamat to work properly. The cat probably have underlying diseases like cancer maybe. Did the vet test the cat for that?

BTW, please tell your friend don't give up. I have tried rescuing sick kitten before & even though many of them in the end died, I do not give up to keep rescuing cat, especially the sick ones. I know there will be issue financially but just try the best we can.

Thanks kizwan! Do you know where we can buy gamat oil? The wound become so big noe you can refer to the pic. Feel so pain for blanket. The previous vet are not good so my friend changed new vet. The current vet told her that good antibiotics are no longer works for blanket. Now give a stronger medicine.

Try find a shop that sell traditional/malay medicine. Or try look at "pasar malam".

Did the cat tested for feline leukemia or FIV? I really hope that cat get better soon.

What is "blanket"? Yes, those are minyak gamat. They're cheap. I use minyak gamat all the time on my cats. It should be no side effect.
