Anyone with newborn baby and a group of cats?
Do some googling, some say bad some say good for immune system.
Need to know first hand experience on this.
Thanks.

QUOTE(melcwh @ Jan 23 2015, 12:33 AM) Am comparing prices of cat food from multiple brands sold in an online store with physical stores around Klang Valley: Looks like a cool site.http://waggymeal.com Are their prices reasonable? With all the cost of living going up, every Sen counts! Let me know if it is reliable. Have been looking for a reliable online shop for a while now. |

I'd like to thank the person who suggested Waggymeal.
I bought Blackwood Indoor Cat (6kg) and Evo Cat Treat (3oz) from them. Couldn't be more happier with the service. I got the items 2 working days after the payment and it is really cheap compared to the market price. They delivered using Ta-Q-Bin which is convenient for me as I lived in a lot house. When they couldn't find my house, they called me and ask for direction and you can specify the time to deliver at your house (I chose 6pm-9pm since its working day). Its good for those who didnt have the time or those who want to take advantage of the online purchase rebate. |

QUOTE(OctoberFly @ Mar 3 2015, 07:30 AM) Negative reinforcement is the last (but cheaper) method to train your cat. Positive reinforcement on the other hand, requires time and money.Since you're away from home, maybe you can ask your mother to spray water but not directly to your cat (maybe at the bin) everytime she approach the garbage bin. Make sure to pujuk her after that with some treats. A good way of training your cat to eat her food again is to sit by her when she's eating. But then again, personalities and adaptation phase differ from cat to cat. Good luck! |

QUOTE(owenwong84 @ Mar 19 2015, 12:43 AM) Hi, Yup. I've tried both in my smartsift.I'm using smartshift cat litter. The wood type and crystal not suitable to fill in right ? I have been using sand, after cat job done, then got leg print on the floor. Decide to stock up many before the GST. Both failed to do the job. Cause the basis of smartsift is the clumping mechanism of the sand. I placed floormat in front of the smartsift, 3 of them side by side to cater the footprint. Oh, does your cat has any problem using the smartsift with the door closed? All my 3 cats refuse to use it when the door is closed. This post has been edited by Asak8: Mar 19 2015, 10:28 AM |

QUOTE(owenwong84 @ Mar 19 2015, 09:43 PM) My cat is ok with door close. Lucky you.If i remember i open the door, then she was inside, then i close it. it took her few min to figure out how to come out. Then after that she knows how to use liao. My cat sleep like this. Any cat sleep like this? [attachmentid=4379019] I tried that to all my 3 cats, once i close the door, they'll just stop pooping and run out. I'm starting to think that they got PTSD from all the carrier rides I gave them. Lol |

QUOTE(thahirah @ Mar 24 2015, 03:17 PM) You know the best is actually...buy a steamer...buy those cheap ikan at pasar...the ikan bilis type..or whatever ikan for cheap. +110 times better then any can food..steaming is important to get rid of bacteria and stuff la. I would do this...but damn cat too fussy I did this to my cat all the time. If you wanna have the canned-food feel, you may add agar2 (it'll become the starchy thingy) and put it in the fridge. Usually I do it with the whole chicken, cut down to small pieces of course. This can tahan the whole month! (I fed my 3 cats wet food once a day, kibbles for the rest of the meal). At least by doing it myself, I know there's no by-product. |

QUOTE(Petre @ Apr 9 2015, 12:21 PM) thanks for your reply... If you're on a budget, go for basic stuff.i never bring my current cat for any vaccination. he was adopted from a construction site, i think a lost kitten... if i do decide to vaccinate my cat... what kind of vaccination is adequate? the reason i did not do it before this is because i am very budget constraint now that i am very bonded with my current cat, i think its for his best interest i give him some medical care... but i scare all this will cost me hundreds... Vaccination and deworm. I forgot about what vaccination used for my cat. I'll check it when I got home later and inform you. I think vaccination+deworm is around RM40. But for kitten, you need to come again a month later for another vaccination. and a year later after that. |

The reason why a lot of forumers stay away from this thread.
We come to share our experience/excitement over our feline friends but yet got people will somehow or someway find negative things to say about it. |

Well. Even I did not support buying cats because I think there's a lot of stray cats that needed home and love currently. All 3 of my cats are stray cats from a restaurant.
But for kitten sake, this is a cat lover thread. Not adopted cat lover or bought cat lover. The fella is just sharing his excitement over getting a new cat but suddenly got bombed because he doesn't follow your definition of getting a cat. A lot of hate from a thread that discussed about such a lovable creature. |

QUOTE(kizwan @ Jun 12 2015, 03:50 PM) I have an appointment for neutering a male cat this Monday. If you guys have any tips to share for pre & post-operative for me please share because this will be my first time neutering male cat. Thanks. Maybe put them in a cage after neutered.I'm aiming to neuter two males cat before Hari Raya. It'll limit the cat movement. |
