QUOTE(Mr Gray @ Feb 12 2017, 09:08 PM) I feed royal canin fit & hair and skin to my cat. Before this, she had no problem eating fish, meat, chicken etc. Now she doesn't want all of these anymore. She only eats RC. How can I make her eat fish/meat/chicken again? My cat has this little problem once. But I suspect it's an attitude problem. So I just leave him what I want him to eat, not what he wants to eat. At first two days he was adamant. By the second evening, he had to give in. And he now knows who is calling the shots.

QUOTE(kizwan @ Feb 9 2017, 01:06 PM) Try prepare one. He probably can pick up really quickly that he/she should pee and poop in the litter box. Make sure you check whether the apartment you're going to live allow pet. This to prevent any problem in the future. Also if you not neuter/spay your cat yet, then you should do now. I'm going to purchase one but according to the pet sitter he doesn't know how to use it. He pooped outside of the litter box

It is clouded because infection just occurred, likely the eye was injured hitting something. It will take time to cure. My cat needed one to 2 months.

**Common Questions**
What is a Domestic Longhair (DLH)? Domestic Shorthair (DSH)?
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Domestic Longhair (DLH)
A domestic longhaired cat is the proper name for any cat with medium or long fur, if it is not a pedigreed member of a recognized breed, which do not come with any certificate from any cat association. Domestic longhairs come in all the standard cat colours including tabby, tortie, bi-colored etc. If their fur combines several shades of the same color they may be referred to as a smoke.
Domestic Shorthair (DSH)
A domestic shorthaired cat (DSH) is the proper name for a shorthaired cat that does not have a pedigree or belong to a recognised cat breed. Domestic shorthaired cats are characterised by a wide range of colouring and typically 'revert to type' after a few generations, which means they express their coats as a tabby. This can be any color or combination of colors. They also exhibit a wide range of physical characteristics, and as a result, domestic shorthaired cats in different countries tend to look different in body shape and size, as they are working from differing gene pools. DSH cats in Asia tend to have a build similar to Siamese or Tonkanese purebreds, while European and American varieties have a thicker, heavier build.
Should I spay/neuter my cat?
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The term neutering refers to the removal of the reproductive organs of the male and female animal, while spaying is specific to female cats and the male cat is castrated.
Advantages of SPAYING or NEUTERING your pet.
1. Pet Population Control
Thousands of stray pets face euthanasia or are suffering on the streets so, please spay your pets and help prevent this problem.
2. Health Benefits
* Females
o Decreases the risk of mammary tumors (breast cancer)
o Eliminates the risk of uterine infections (pyometra)
o Reduces the risk of TVT (Transmissible Venereal Tumour), a sexually transmitted cancer.
* Males
o Reduces the chances of TVT
o Eliminates the risk of testicular cancer
o Markedly reduces the risk of prostrate cancer, anal gland cancer
3. Behaviour Benefits
o Reduces stress
o Prevents wandering and roaming in search of females, which can lead to accidents.
o Prevents the spread of diseases such as TVT
o Eliminates marking of territory by urine spraying and reduces odor
o Reduces aggression, leading to less fighting and less vet bills for injuries
We have referred to the \"Jawatankuasa Kemajuan Islam Malaysia\" regarding the neutering of pets. Below is the \"fatwa\" issued by JAKIM (July 2002):
\"All pets like cats and dogs are allowed to be neutered or spayed in order to maintain the health and welfare of both the animals and the community.\"
\"Bahawa mengembiri binatang kesayangan seperti kucing atau anjing hukumnya adalah diharuskan dengan sebab-sebab tertentu iaitu bagi menjaga muslahat ummah.\"
In view of the good which can be derived, neutering can be carried out for the well-being of your pet cat. Do not be of two minds anymore. Hurry to your vet to make an appointment to neuter your cat.

Dear all, I've just adopted a kitten last 1 or 2 weeks. When I adopted it that time, I still bottle feed it with formulated milk. Now I think the kitten are roughly around 4 weeks old and it's already rejecting formulated milk, so now I'm feeding it Brit wet food for kitten. I read a lot of online article saying that usually kitten will start eating dry food (kibbles) when they're around 5-6 weeks old. But during they're matured enough for dry food, would they reject it and continue to look for the wet food as many articles saying that cat will pick what they want to eat and end up being a fussy eater. Any one of you cat lover out there has this kind of experience? Please do share your experience, guidance needed Thank you!

Any pictures of the cat? To sell your phone, that must be one heck of a cat. I don't think I can recommend blowing all your money for just the cat. I would consider vaccine/spay/neuter. Also, are you really really sure? Pet owner isn't a mere title, it's a responsibility.
