HSBC charge 1.25% for Overseas Transaction. Highest among all International Banks.

Considering to get the R+ offer for the cookware. but looks like very troublesome to get waiver for HSBC card?

Hi all,

iam now facing an issue rejection due to unable to confirm employment.

My company doesnt accept call to check for employment and informed HSBC CS , already submitted an official letter of employment when did appeal - gotten rejected second time due to same reason, unable to contact employer for confirmation.

Anyone managed to get approved without HSBC calling employment and how you did it ?

I think they will pick up randomly and call as they didn't call my employer. I'm from HR and usually will be picked up by my team, they didn't mention about HSBC calling. Yes, we cannot confirm over the phone too to avoid fraud cases, so we will ask banks to send via email.

Long story short, I got approved without employment verification.

Try get other Bank Credit card or loan to build up Credit History 1st before applying HSBC.

when i apply hsbc i put my office desk phone number...so hsbc called and verified...

hsbc running 2 promotion currently, lazada 500 voucher and cash back 288. are they exclusively or they can be obtained simultaneously? I am looking at the VS for lounge access.

i am suprised to know that for more than one hsbc credit card one owns, it does not share the credit limit.

Good morning guys,
Currently i am planning to cancel amanah card, which rarely used since not much benefit i think. Plan to do so via call.
Any thing that i should aware of before doing it? Since i am using less than 1 year, should be no AF.
