Guys, anyone can help? applied HSBC cc card last week but got rejected. Had applied same time for pbb VS card but got approved. Called to customer service ask for rejection reason but they said no access to system and not able to tell why reject.

Applied hsbc cc, the whole process was through phone, not even need to fill in any form. I like the convenience

btw have a look at HSBC point redemption, cash voucher like AEON HSBC needs 43000 while Maybank needs 46400, seems HSBC slightly better in this?

Banks usually won't share rejection reason.

if you believe you have strong financial background and ccris is good
you can file complain to bank negara to instruct them to tell you the reason
then they will approve your card
i did that before
unable to get the reason but the card approved

submitted all new documents cause last documents more than 1 year already
got it 3 days later
then i called call center to request upgrade m2c to plat
got it 4 days later
again i called call center to request upgrade ikhwan master and petronas visa
got rejected

just called the CS, the number behind CC
after key-in my IC number, got informed that their operation hours is until 9.30pm and pls call back tomorrow

very poor customer service experience
