Received email this morning that my VS application is rejected. Strange when I have far fulfilled the minimum requirement and it will share CL with my Amanah Plat.

The only possibility i could think of is due to the low CL and that's also not controlled by me.

Anyway, luckily I'm not desperate to get this card, just for fun only.

Haha, true, check my bank account this morning, got RM3300 from them, well better then RM 0.

I filled in details at HSBC website to apply their plat card for the Lazada voucher promo yesterday. They called me this morning and asked all my details including income , work & home address etc.
But when i ask how do i submit documents , that cs say don't need at the moment . We will send in for processing 1st .

Is that the way HSBC handle credit card application? Nvr been apply card before without submitting documents at 1st

I applied Amanah with CL of 8500. Use it for a couple of weeks and was intro by HSBC at Sunway for Visa Platinum. Give it a try and got it. Surprising it approved with a CL of 23K. I was like WOW.

I don't bother to use this card anyway, applied for 0% cash installment only.
Since the guy in MV persuaded me to apply for VS, I gave in and applied since no harm for me to get another VS from another bank.

By the way that day i went to Mid Valley and ask a HSBC staff that i've applied for Amanah via online and using the card but why not LAZADA Voucher?

He said the voucher limited only. Means can't get?

How long do you all wait to get the Lazada RM500 voucher?

It's over a month since I swiped but received nothing.

I don't know why ... maybe it's the Amanah or Islamic card separate credit line problem.

I previously hold a HSBC Premier Account with ugly Premier WMC and VS and both canceled (more than 1 year ago).

My last credit cards recently was approved with both 200k limit and 50k limit.

And HSBC Amanah gave me RM5k limit? Hmmm. Anyone?

Ah. Yeah, Amanah and VS shouldn't share the same limit, now I know why I got rejected.

But still, RM5k is like so sad. Haha. But I accepted anyway for my RM500 vouchers.

And after activation even call to ask me take loan up to RM3-4k or something. Blek

Which promo you mean here...?!

HSBC usually Credit the CB on 6-12 weeks after the campaign ended later & Even some of their promo come with 1st come, 1st served basis only...

get 80 and get cash promo, already credited but seems like not reasonable, only get rm 8 and rm5, note that it is first come first serve, but still... will call to cs for further clarification. think to cancel the card if no valid justification, feels like cheated anyway. haha
