Actually I not sure how they run this campaign

During December 2016, me n my bro apply for the HSBC card. The campaign for the time is any swipe/rm1000 spend within 60days for rm300 Lazada voucher. Not sure about the campaign period on that time.

Then on January/Feb HSBC come out with the new campaign rm500 lazada.

My card approved earlier than my bro. I get it by December 2016 while my bro on Jan 2017.

I swipe the required amount earlier than my bro. My first statement is 24jan2017.

But my bro get the voucher first(middle of march). Me only get yesterday after complaint a lot time. So basically I no idea how they do thing.

Since we get more than initially though, we jz leave it. Haha

Hi guys, previously i apply my HSBC on Feb thru agent at Tesco and get the Balance Transfer at 0% interest. He said i entitled to get cashback for RM688 because my BT exceeded RM6888. My question is, how and when can i get the cashback. Is it reflect back in my CC account? Thank you.

i think unlikely you will get the RM688 cash back. it is because the campaign run from 1 Dec 16 - 28 Feb 17 and giving out 2,400 units if not mistaken (first come first serve basis) which i think the 2,400 units should be running out somewhere mid Jan 17 i guess.

But they ran exactly the same campaign again in March, thus implying got quota left I guess?

Can we expect they'll making call to all to those who get the 688? Will they ask question in order to entitled for it? Or they just diam2 wired the cash into our saving account? How normally they do it? (Previous campaign)

For my past acquisition cashback offers with HSBC (I've cancelled and reapplied at least 4 times over the past few years), it just appears in statement a few months later.

Some replies in the earlier posts did advise one not to use the credit card if one is having a BT with HSBC in order not to be charged interest. May I know with this promotion, how are we gonna make use of it without being charged interest? Thanks

erm.. if i am not mistaken, the March campaign only have few hundred units for the RM688 cash back if you applied end of the month i think also quite hard.

You mean if we use the card for normal purchase after we did the BT using HSBC, we will be charged interest for the normal purchase? Is this true?

As I understand for other bank, even if we have BT, we still can use it for normal purchase without any interest.

Of course, make FULL Payment on time. So there should be no interest charge on the Normal Purchase right?

Please, I need someone to clarify about this.
