Can anyone advice which of the cards below is better in terms of cashback / rewards

1. HSBC Visa Signature Credit Card
2. HSBC Amanah MPower Platinum Credit Card-i

For spending scenario like this:
Food : 600
Petrol : 250
Utilities: 250
Apparel & Retail Purchase : 200
Online shopping : 250
Groceries : 100
Others & Insurance : 200

I'm wondering , there's a minimum retail spend of 2k for Mpower card, in order to get 8% cashback for each category, is ewallet reload of RM 500 considered as part of the 2k minimum retail spend?

For visa signature, is ewallet reload entitled for cash back? Cuz I dont really spend in foreign currency , but the Premium lounge access seems attractive to me

Any advice would do , thank you in advance

HSBC does not really have good cashback cards, you are better off getting MBB Amex 5% cashback on weekends or Affin Duo, I feel la.

Yes. If you want to optimize this then you can spend rm187.50 in each category, and then spend rm1437.50 anywhere else including ewallets if you want. MPower also has a 0.2% cashback for all other spend.

I just use my card HSBC MPOWER platinum card last month, anyone knows how they calculate RM18 cashback? I thought should be more

8% cash back for groceries, petrol and ewallet up to rm15 each category ... Others 0.2%

Finally mine got approved last Tuesday and now still awaiting

Got offer rm50 but need to spend 3 times in 30 days. Exclude auto billing.

those who want to use HSBC with Google Wallet ... need to wait longer.. they dont support it yet.. despite press release in Lowyat said they do

How long does it takes for hsbc to call you? Applied on 12 Nov till now haven't receive any call from hsbc.

Just use TNB quickpay and pay RM 10 x 20.
