don't know why you want to keep your isp a secret. can't help you if we don't know what isp you are using.

nevermine then. you should know by yourself when i said i cant say. it not someting like jaring, maxis broadband or penangphone. seem like it is secureix problem. couse somebody said it is because a lot of ppl has used it. maybe their server jam already. test with streamyx also like that.

I'm beginning to think it is streamyx related, meaning when there are a lot of TM Net users online (congestion hours) Secureix goes to hell as well.

no, i dont think tmnet block secureix. it's secureix that block our ip. when someone post here that using secureix can increase our connection speed, a lot of ppl suddenly apply the secureix account. then everyone try to connect to secureix. that is why the server jam already. i think our ips have been blacklisted at secureix server smile.gif just read at their website, they admit they have some problem with their server now. maybe because ppl from malaysia BTing to much doh.gif

the best to bypass throttling now is to quit Streamyx and apply for Jaring and other alternative ISPs that offer broadband in your area. I am pretty certain those muthafugging TMnet is doing something to VPN and HTTP-Tunnelling as well. they have learnt about our circumvention methods and they are tweaking their throttling protocol to block themselves. the only thing they haven't f***ing block is FTP.

I've just started using S.IX a day ago and my BT dload speed has gone up from 10kB/s to 50kB/s. Although it is not a big deal compares to my good-old-days-speed, I don't need to take 2 days to download a video anymore. Until the day S.IX decided to end it's Beta trial, I am pretty happpyy with the outcome, hehe. The downside is that it gets disconnected quite often at night...

If you are using VPN then it might happen because the server is outside the country.

that 3 digit is what they download..not the transfer rate...your download rate is 18kb which is normal for the time being...or am i wrong sweat.gif

Dear Sir / Madam,

TM NET SDN BHD'S RESPONSE TO COMPLAINT REGARDING P2P BROADBAND.

For your information, p2p throughput is subject to peers (seed) availability and
their throughput. Please note that TM Net does not have any control over peers
availability / throughput.

TM Net wish to highlight that as an Internet Service Provider, TM Net only
provides Internet access and does not guarantee content delivery and
performance where it is not within the domain of TM Net. As a matter of policy,
our international traffic management is designed to cater for all our customer
so they have the optimal surfing experience within the normal limits of
Internet usage.

We would also like to reiterate that we are not against the use of p2p but we
would like to take this opportunity to educate our customers that the usage of
excessive p2p does impact the overall service availability to other customers.

We wish to also highlight to customers that TM Net provides each subscriber with
an allocated bandwidth to which other subscriber may use the allocation when not
used by others. Unfortunately, the nature of p2p more often than not, takes more
than the allocated bandwidth, thus causing undue setbacks for other users when
they want to use the service.

As a responsible service, we believe it is our responsibility and commitment to
educate and encourage responsible usage of the available infrastructure.

Thank you.

why want educate us when they r more stupid then us ? mad.gif mad.gif
they give us 1mbps connection and we USE it for urself, if they say i cant use p2p becoz it will take other ppl bandwich, then, what other purpose we use high speed internet ? just for chatting ? see my mail then what ? we use broadband becoz we want higher speed download and upload, plus, why say p2p take other ppl bandwich when my d/l is is same with my subsribe package ( 1mbps@RM88), it same like they want us subscribe to 1mb package but tell us dont use all speed we pay for it, just want us use 10% from our should get speed maybe ? why tmnet cant see this problem from our customer view ? put all blame to us and nothing to their own self vmad.gif

Translation:
Yes we are throttling p2p network
Thank You.

This people really talk too much. But I'd like to know how much bandwidth was I allocated? last time I check, they say my line is 512kbps/256kbps and no matter how I read all the documents, there's no any other bandwidth figure.

they are not educating anyone. they are manipulationg the internet line at their will.

Off Topic! This is not a Streamyx ranting thread and worse, it's been posted many times before and the same questions asked over and over again. For our sake, just BANK IN RM30 to Virtual's bank account to solve your P2P problems. You know very well ranting like an idiot here will not reverse the situation anyway.
