You may have luck bypassing TMNet's throttle with one of the following methods:

VPN / SOCKS Proxy
Use a free or paid VPN service (e.g. SecureIX, Relakks). Forum member 'virtual' is currently offering VPN service as well

I can recommend another VPN service. Unfortunately it’s paid one, but as a plus it’s cheap, and easy to use. The encrypted channel gives u more than high speed. More then unlimited downloads. I’ve bought it a few months ago. And now I’m enjoying all services and sites without any blocking. Seems to me, that a few backs per months not so big minus for lots of pluses.
Oh, it’s http://strongvpn.com/
IMHO

I've been enjoying using IPV6 to download torrent from piratebay for the past few months until my boss blocked ipv6 traffic from the stupid firewall. I can easily get 50-100kps download speed. Don't sure whether it is still working now. Here i post the FAQ link how to set-up IPV6 tunneling. BTW, they call it tunnel broker.

I have been throttled by streamyx for a couple of days now, it happened before and I waited a few days, it was fine after that, throttled was gone. Now it is happening again and it doesn't seem to be going away. In this case, can I use the VPN to stop the throttling? or VPN is just a way to prevent torrent user from getting throttled?
