QUOTE(New Klang @ Jul 24 2017, 02:26 PM) It's something like Eat a Light Meal and then wait another 8 or 16 hours and eat another Meal again.Expected Result: Weight Loss Why does it work: Eat Less, means Less Calories, means Calories Deficit, means People know the drill. People lose weight because you eat less. |

Had been reading a few articles for weight loss which some of them says keep your daily diet below 50g carbs and 20g fat to see results.
I am 167cm and weight 58-60kg. I gave a range because it always varies when i feel full or having constipation problem. (It gets better after i eat sunskit and jog regularly, just started for one week.) When i tried to key in default goals in myfitnesspal apps, which i plan to is to key in 50g carbs (15%) 20g fats (15%) and... for protein i need 48g only according to my weight, but the apps wont let me set up my own ratio unless i reach 100%. Does this mean this ratio isnt recommended or it is unhealthy? And if i take too much protein like above 48g, what will happen in my body? Trying to jog every evening every day, stamina isnt good, cant continously jog for 1km. A student and i am in my holiday, quite sedentary in the morning/afternoon. Had been inspired by many abs holder in instagram for many days, determined to cut belly fat, had been successfully avoid rice and bread for 2 days. What i am having recently is Breakfast (around 7am): one teaspoon of nescafe+one teaspoon of sugar+one teaspoon of coffeemate, and two hard boiled eggs Around 10:30am: Ate a sunskit Lunch around 1pm : Broccoli, or other veggie Around 4pm One hour before jogging+walking: 50g avocado + few cashew nuts Around 7pm One hour after come back from jogging+walking: one scoop protein shake 🤔🤔🤔 didnt track the percentage of the macros i ate but will start doing today. Am i doing things right? O.o Can control myself quite well if you guys have better suggestion please guide me thank you!!! |

What exactly is your goal though? I didn't see anything about going to Gym so I don't think building muscles are the goal for you.I am 167cm and weight 58-60kg. Am i doing things right? O.o Can control myself quite well if you guys have better suggestion please guide me thank you!!! As for cutting belly fat, NO Diet, or Workout that will specifically target where you will be LOSING the Fats, the only thing you can target is where you want to GAIN the Muscles. If your goal is to lose more weights, please for the love of whatever upper beings you are worshiping, don't go read up all those complicated websites that tells you about "50Gs of Carbs, (Weight * 2) G of Proteins, 20Gs of Fats.". It is too complicated for us, that is why people invented the SIMPLEST AND EASIEST way for us to lose weight, "Calories In, Calories Out". Just count your CALORIES instead if you want to Lose Weight. And for the part on the Jogging, just keep doing it and eventually you can Jog 1Km without stopping, or maybe 10Km or even more. Lastly, remember this, if you wanted to Lose Weight, it is supposed to be a LIFESTYLE CHANGE, but not a Temporary Solution. This post has been edited by Mr2PieR: Jul 25 2017, 01:29 PM |

Is the meal sufficient for you? Do you feel hungry? I got a feeling that you are eating too little protein, considering that you did slow cardio everyday.I am 167cm and weight 58-60kg. Am i doing things right? O.o Can control myself quite well if you guys have better suggestion please guide me thank you!!! General rule of thumb is to eat protein around 1g/kg of your weight, and eat carbs of the size of your fist, and lots of vegetables. Carbs choose good carbs, like brown rice or sweet potato. You eat nuts and avocado, which is good fat. That's nice. Try to drink black coffee (I know it taste bad but it's good as a pre-workout to help u run/workout better) instead of nescafe with sugar and cream. Abs are made in the kitchen, and to have abs shown, you need low fat percentage ~18% and a lot of muscles. Continue with your jogging/running to lose fat% but eat more protein so you preserve your muscles %. Keep it up! Hope to see your changes in a year. |

thats an extremely short HIIT session...and unless ur extremely fit...i dont see how u are going to maintain a high enough intensity for 30secs with only 10secs rest in between.
do something more maneagable, say 20secs high, 40secs rest for 15mins. same with jogging...completion time matters...so 2.4km since beginner perhaps aim for 20mins. dont bother with everything else as it doesnt burn much. and as has been mentioned countless of times...calories in vs out. |

I would start on some jogging or some low intensity cardio to build up stamina n get yr body used to moving. Then add on HIIT later on.

QUOTE(IcyDarling @ Jul 9 2017, 09:23 PM) Curios how you guys track the calorie intakes? The app I was using long time ago, it's quite westernized (Calorie Counter - MyFitnessPal). Susah wan find food like nasi lemak/bah kut teh (lol i know i shouldnt eat those stuff if im trying to lose weight, but once in a while kena cheat sikit haha) MyFitnessPal is your best friend. It has by far the largest database to check food like char kuey teow, wan tan mee. Not just your standard burger and fries. |

It has a big data base, but it is only good for generic food. Say McD, some standard food with SOP preparation method you can use. In Malaysia, Nasi Lemak Pondan might have different portion size from Nasi Lemak Dara from the data base in MyFitnessPal. What I do is I dissect ingredients, google calories, add them up. Works better for me that way. |

Controlling insulin by low carb can make body adapt to fat metabolism? Keto is the best diet for fat loss around belly? Intermittent fasting really burns fat? |

But I know it wont work for me because I am in constant bad mood now and carbs soothes me. Controlling insulin by low carb can make body adapt to fat metabolism? Keto is the best diet for fat loss around belly? Intermittent fasting really burns fat? Keto doesn't target belly fats. IF is a tool. You still need calorie in < calorie out. |
