lets go back to being more civil here.
a pre-work out meal can be considered your dinner, so eat the right foods for that to give enough fuel for training...generally 1-2hrs before.
a supplement is just as is, a supplement.

QUOTE(alien9 @ Mar 27 2015, 12:01 PM)
WTF how old are you? Do you need to be spoonfed much issit? Here's the answer for you.

HAHAHA FAG! Can't admit ur public shame? PRE-WORKOUT MEAL??? READ UP UR FACTS! OR do u lack spelling skills? PRE-WORK SUPPLEMENT! Repeat after me... SUPPLEMENT!

QUOTE(Xenasaga @ Mar 27 2015, 12:13 PM)
And I thought I can get some convincing professional answer here. Just another active fags giving random crap answers for the sake of replying and wouldn't admit his mistake.

If you guys are here hoping to get advice for weight loss while maintaining your lifestyle in Malaysia; pls don't waste time here.

You didn't even know what you asked yet you feel full of yourself. Good for you. If you can't differentiate between a pre-workout meal and supplements, then probably you're the one who need to brush up your reading skills.

Currently I m only doing jogging is because there is no gym open in my place. I did HIIT before but on the next day I can't barely stand. So I give up on HIIT. Do you have any suggestion on HIIT that suitable for obese like me ?
*
i think u shouldnt worry about HIIT or whatever, sure HIIT is more effective...
but ur main aim is just to slowly reduce weight...ur in no hurry anyway.
heard of the term "Eat Breakfast Like a King, Lunch Like a Prince, and Dinner Like a Pauper"?

anyway best way for HIIT at ur current weight is to use a stationery bike.
then again, at ur weight, its best for u to first go consult a physician to see if ur heart can take it.

Actually I am quite hurry, Wish to see a visible result before cny. If follow what u said, breakfast eat food like brown rice plus meat and vege then lunch eat mixed rice (1 meat 2 vege) and dinner eat fruit and boiled egg plus milo is that ok?
*
u already did mention ur TDEE of 2600+ calories...so u should also know how many calories all that are and if its in a calorie deficit or not.

Hi guys. I need some opinions or advice regarding my diet/routine. Wanted to lose some weight.

Mon/Wed/Fri = Veggies, Fruits and Meat (avoid rice totally)
Tue/Thu/Sat = Portioned rice (about 1 & 1/2 scoop of rice, twice per day, lunch and dinner)
Sunday = Cheat day (but with considerate amount of intake)

Every breakfast is oatmeal with fruits.
Only drink plain water with occasion tea or coffee (no sugary drinks such as Milo, milk tea or soda).
Snacks on fruits, nuts and raisins.
Workout only consists of push up and cycling at least 5km per day.

Sorry if I couldn't read all the past post. Currently weights about 83kg. Wanted to lose until 70kg in around 10 weeks. Is it possible with the diet that I'm planning?
*
what is that?
u mean tue/thu/sat u have rice and only rice? thats very wrong.

go download myfitnesspal and use it as a guide.

13kg in 2.5 months, imo u wont be feeling very healthy after that...go slower...ur not in a race are u.

Holy sheet. No man, of course not. How the heck am I gonna swallow it if I just eat plain rice.  What I meant from portioned rice is that I eat normally, rice with the standard lauk-pauk, just that I portioned the rice as so not to eat too much.

Speaking of in a race, well, I'm kinda in one. Hahaha. I kinda made a bet with my friend that I'll lose weight till 70kg in 10 weeks. If not, he can have my old3DS for free. I don't really care about the 3DS console, he can have it for all that I care. I just made that bet as a motivation boost for me to workout and to lose weight by NOT let him have it for free. Hahahahaha.
*
hence the need to be specific.
and that also applies to counting ur calories.
u eat with all the lauk, means may have oil / salt / sugar etc which u cant control...and will definitely hamper any progress.

Well according to google  tongue.gif .. I need to eat around 1100-1300 to lose weight. That video is kinda like a crash diet to get back to your ideal weight.  Never counted my calorie intake before but it sure is more than what I should be eating.  cry.gif .

Now trying to limit my rice to 1 cup. No sweet beverages or junk food.
*
1100-1300?
are u over 40?
or trying for some too high / too fast / unhealthy way to lose weight?
its not a race, just take ur time, do it the healthy way...

Since I started working, I have gained 20kg.

I have odd working hours which makes me sometimes skip breakfast, lunch or dinner.

My work sometime require me to sit in datacenter with cold aircond, working late at night. Sometimes I forgot to drink plain water in a day.

What can I do to reduce my weight with such odd working hours?
*
how long ago did u start working?
20kg cannot just be put on so fast...im guessing 2-3yrs?
if u say a few months then gg, u need a lifestyle change.

19 is not that bad la...little bit more.
but 3km in 40-50mins is like walking pace...try up the intensity more to 3km in 30mins...then more... tongue.gif

Hi sifus, i am currently doing this intermittent fasting to lose fat as i dont have the time to workout as much as i could last time.

i know this isnt for everyone but may i know what is your opinion about intermittent fasting
*
imo its a stupid trend.
just consistently watch what u eat everyday... dont have to skip meals...will also be much easier to maintain and probably healthier over a long period of time.

no such thing as spot reduction.
just continue burning calories.

squat bodyweight 20times does nothing anyway.

Guys I need tips on diet plan.
Im 21 years old student. Living in a room without kitchen in the house. So cannot cook my own meals nor I have refrigerator in the house. ( cannot keep yogurt/vege/fruits)
175 cm , 78 kg (planning to reduce to 63 kg). Running 5km 4-5 times a week.
I am thinking about having banana before my morning run.
I am clueless about lunch since you know those unis canteen barely serve healthy food.
Dinner. Sometimes I skip since I am so lazy to go out to buy food or I just eat biscuit. 2-3 pieces. After I read this thread, I will start with strength and HIIT training. Thank you.
*
63kg is too extreme for 175cm, become like stick insect.

Guys, I am 172cm with 92kg. I plan to get ideal weight (around 65kg) but dunno how to start. Anyone can help me? I try eat less and jog but after 1 month and half, nothing change
*
this topic over-done already in here la.
but u need to monitor calorie intake.
just cos u eat less doesnt mean its less calories.
choose the right food and u can still eat more but with less calories...so u dont feel hungry so much.

use the usual myfitnesspal app etc to monitor.

Problem is I always eat outside. So dunno about the calories of food
Since I only do jog, so how frequently is recommended to me? Before this I do jog 4 times a week (satur, Mon,Wed,Fri) but no change. So now I only do 1 times a week
Now I rarely takes sweet drink. Only plain water. I takes sweet drink around 1 times a week or 2 weeks
*
then even more reason to watch what u eat.
more established places got calorie info anyway.

im currently trying to lose weight. im 171cm and 90kg, obviously obese. im aiming for 70kg now. i manage to go down to 75kg few years back by going to gym and eating less then i gain all back after coming back to malaysia ><

anyway, i wanna ask, will whey protein make my cut harder? i did drink them last time and manage to lose weight but im not sure do they really make any different or not. im doing the fierce 5 beginner workout now with 40min or cardio, trying my best to cut down on calorie intake and completely cut sugary drinks.
*
protein will just help u feel full longer...and also prevent as much muscle mass loss as possible when cutting...so 1gm / lb also is a good target.
