steady state cardio aka jogging, cycling, elliptical done at constant speed will work in the beginning. Then the law of diminishing return sets it. If any of you guys (or gals for the matter of fact) wants to slim down, cut out sugary drink COMPLETELY. No kopi peng (kopi kosong is fine), teh ais, milo ais, teh o limau or wat not. That includes 'healthy' fruit juice.
So, any of you wanna lose weight wanna take up the challenge???? Just for one month. wink.gif Pass the challenge, then we talk more. If not, why waste time???????

*coming from a guy who lost 25kg within 6 months.

I love my gorilla / monster drink. Its abt manipulation of the time of sugar intake that is important. For the general masses, its best to avoid sugary drink.

Guys I am fat obese and wanted to lose weight. So my friend suggest me 0 carb. 0 carb is no problem but I easily feel hungry. and so I will use protein to replace carb but taht means excessive protein in order to feel my stomach.

so my question is this. if I had execessive protein every meal can i still lose weight. excessive means about 1 roasted chicken per meal. and 4 meals per day. means 4 chicken per day. since I am not taking any carbs and protein has no fats is it possible to lose weight?

In yr scenario, it means u are not losing weight at all. I wont even call 1kg a weight loss. 0 carbs means u actually will lose water weight very fast... Like 1-2kg within weeks. Are u compensating carbs with other food source?

Workout towards the end of fast ie 1100-1200 in yr case.

But u should trial and error. Some find their workout sucks during fasting. Some prefer to haf a light meal b4 workout. It boils down to the quality of yr workout. I done both, workout after a light meal works better for me.

If by resistance training you mean weight lift, it is not necessary.

A friend of mine who is a swimmer in his schooling years never lifted weights has lats so wide that we call them wings, shoulder so round we call it rock, legs so defined we call it tree root. Puffy chest with 8 packs abs. Traps are a little flat though.

He trained for 5 days a week for the 12 years since 7 y/o before he retires. He got fat now though.

Hey bro, not necessarily weight though its one of the option. Can be calisthenic, body weight, band etc etc.

Oh gawdddd... If you are a guy, please don't do 1200 calories per day. Keeping calories as high as possible while losing fat/weight is much much more sustainable

Most ppl dont stay low carb long enough to see how their body react. I know I couldn't. Lethargic, mental block, craving for food, lousy workout. Now if i just able to tahan a few more days to see how... Alas i realize need carbs to function properly as a human lol
