For the PREMIUM variant owners..

Is it worth upgrading from my Preve Exec's very plain 'non touch screen' radio player, to the Preve Premium's original 'touch screen' player? .. I just like the looks of a touch screen player interface .

The good dvd players out there cost almost 1k and more, and I don't want to go for the cheap china brand DVD players.

So i thought, maybe the Premium's original player would be good enough? Are the functions even usable? I heard the original GPS is not good?

No dont. The GPS is not good. Screen is small.

The GPS is good, only in the signal detection and locking. The maps however are outdated.

Hi,
mind to share how they diagnose and any physical symptom of the failure shaft?
*
Driveshaft failures/defects causes vibrations and knocking sounds coming from the wheel well. Turning at full rotation will cause juddering, knocking. Driver will feel a pull from the side that fails during driving; for my case left. So do a few doughtnuts yourself and you'd know it if you have that problems.

If you just wanna upgrade the HU, better buy aftermarket touchscreen unit. Much bigger display with more updated GPS map (free map). Premium HU GPS map, you need to buy to get updated map, RM300.

hi guys, just want to check with anyone that had claimed for the wiring harness, is it a warranty claim? If I go to apple auto on saturday for my 20k service (apple auto only do service and no warranty claim on saturday), will they change for me or I need to go on normal weekday? Thanks for all the help.

Hi guys, after much debate I chose Preve over Insapla. Since I'm buying 2nd hand, may I know if I go SC on appointment I ask them change

1) EO + Filter
2) CVT oil + CVT Filter (Needed? Car almost 60k mileage)

Will they entertain if I only want the service that I specify. Since it is not under warranty anymore. Or should I just go any workshop?

Just to confirm: EO = xW20/30 Semi Syn, CVT = Use back plotong

I don't think the warranty extends to second hand buyer (correct me if I'm wrong). If they no longer cover the warranty, you should be able to find better service and price at workshop of your choice.

Yes, you can have a custom maintenance.

No one uses 0W-20 for CFE engine, at least not in any conventional thinking. xW-30 above is deemed appropriate.

CVT fluid and filter is required to be replaced at least every 60000KM. So, answer is yes.

There are such product, but there isn't a real good product. It is usually over sensitive, and it just cheats that a door is unexpectedly opened to trigger an alarm.

My 2 cents.

If my memory is still OK, I read that the warranty can be extended to another owner within the warranty period. There is a form at the back of the car manual for this.

Cheerio.
