QUOTE(hong3831 @ Jan 6 2015, 11:07 AM) Its like update ur PC or handphone. It change the way ecu control the throttle, engine response. New car usually already come with latest software, but no harm to try. Thanks. I see. Maybe I will wait for a yr later to remap. I hope this is free.

They will not issue new software if not much complaint. anyway, if you have problem with power response, sudden engine off, they will reset the ecu too.

QUOTE(mengsuan @ Jan 5 2015, 06:17 PM) 215/45/17 is the stock LE size. Can fit 205/50/17, which I wish to get next round for comfort and reduced FC reasons. Can also fit 225/45/17 without issues but at the expense of fuel consumption. May or may not fit 215/50/17, will hit fender if car is heavily loaded or going through turbulent roads with weak absorbers. Do not fit any other thicker or wider 17" tyres i.e. don't ever think of 55 profile. Yup, i'll probably go with 215/45/17 as per stock LE. How about the tyre brand/model? Still using GT Radial Champiro?

But if you're getting your own, of course don't get such cheap tyres. For quiet ones, you can get Michelin Primacy 3 ST, Yokohama Advan DB etc. For performance, a bunch is available such as Michelin PS3, Eagle F1 Assymetric 2 and more more more

About time to wash my baby. But holding it off till the weekend as my car is gonna be riding on a lorry for a 12 hour journey this Thursday.
Was just browsing through local supermarket here and a few things caught my attention. Wondering if you guys have any experience on it.
1. Rain X. Its selling here for about Rm 18. A quick google on the product popped up one major worry. It seems it can cause the wiper to judder. Someone on lowyat forum was even asking how to remove it. Is wiper judder common due to rain x use and is it really that bad? Any better alternatives?
2. ArmorAll A large bottle of the blue concentrate (not the amber ultrashine wash and wax) cost about RM 20 here. Is it good. And is it true a stand alone washing liquid is better than wash and wax combo?
3 Waxing Is it worth to dyi and for a black preve do i go for the metallic wax or the black wax. Soft 99 has once for black but the english translated label says its for gloss black.
4. Any suggestions for interior cleaner. I.e. the shiny dust magnet parts, dashboard and door panels.
Any exerience shared is greatly appreciated

Started using Rain X again when I got my Preve as it is very difficult to see properly in a Preve when it rains heavily. Now the vision is better with Rain X. No problem with the wiper. Check with Amazon review. Cheerio.

I used it on my mom Saga Magma car, my Fordie and now my Preve Turbo. About the wiper, once the wiper not good anymore. Change to silicone wiper, it is more durable and can sweep rain thoroughly.
