Anyway, went to Ikano pet safari yesterday saw a lot of Long Neck turtle Very small, hatchling they are! RM100 though If anyone like them can go over and have a look

Wrong thread, lol. Any new turtles/tortoise at Pets Safari ? Might wanna go and check again. Last few weeks they got Asian Giant Pond Turtle for sale there. Now no more and replaced by Pig Nose turtle.

how much is the PigNose?

Not sure, its big and im sure it retails at a price around rm400 and above.

No hatching?

Currently its hard to find hatchlings. They come in seasons, so if u really want them just keep the money. They will come but im not sure when.

Hi all again! Still no luck in trying to find me an ally snapper....but my GF mistook a common snapper for one and she bought it for me...*sigh*

No complains I guess.....she was trying to be nice and sweet, so now I have inadvertently became a common snapper owner....

I'll still continue on my quest to look for an Ally Snapper and should any of ya come across one (3-4 inches shell length), do let me know yeah?

I reckon my GF bought me the common snapper from Irene Aquarium. Not sure if they have any left, my GF did mention it was the last one hence she straightaway bought it. Sorry to hear about your ally snapper

asked about this turtle when i was at Aquaria last time, a guy worked there told me that it was almost being served on dishes when a guy came by and bought it off... Aquaria then knows about this and got it from this guy, and transfer it to KLCC... there goes the story of this turtle, really lucky!!

i'm so glad that they guy did what's right to do!! Hats off to that anonymous guy...

Turtle/tortoise in malaysia doesnt need to hibernate. LOL.

How on earth people would eat such a turtle ? Some more it costs quite expensive.
