I'm not sifu so can't answer that for sure.

However it's only one of 2 hoses, you could just unplug both of them and immediately find out.

Personally though, no point to drain the torque converter unless you're planning on overhauling/rebuilding the transmission

Anyone use this EO? I just bought it at RM109. I hope it will give smoother engine compared to Castrol Magnatec 10W-40.

Go to those vehicle breakdown scrapyards and nego a price, could be
around RM500 per car, then they will make arrangements to tow the
car away. They may ask for JPJ certificate for scrapping vehicles, for
this you have to make the necessary paperwork. It does not matter
if it is Y2K.

Hi all, I just got my saga LMST's air fuel ratio tuned by mechanic as my LMST got slight misfire problem at idle.

He played with the screw and ended up in higher idle at 1.5k rpm compared to 1k rpm before.

Then he tuned down the idle using the idle screw.

I wonder, without touching the idle screw at first, after tuning the air fuel mixture ratio, ended up getting higher rpm, which side he's tuning to? richer or leaner?

And is it he adjusted only the idle jet screw, which is only for idling?

Another screw is for main jet, that one is more important?

It is part of the recycling business. For the estimated
RM500 he pays you, he will take apart your car for parts
that are reusable and in good condition, like car doors,
radiators, engines, suspension parts which will end up
in the second-hand parts shops. If you visit one of these
second-hand car parts shops you will find rows and rows
of engines, doors, brakes, bumpers etc, everything that
make up a car. They even sell certain new parts, that's
where I got some for my car.

Parts that are not reusable will end up as scrap metal.
So they make a profit doing this service.

Also, don't forget to get the JPJ certificate even if he
does not ask for it, this is to safeguard yourself, just
in case.

If this light is ON when handbrake is down, better check your brake fluid level in the reservoir.

Internet search yields the whole set;
not sure if the switch alone is available.

Try asking the electrical repair shops, or
second-hand car-parts shop...

UPDATE====
Try also the air-cond service shops.

Anyone know whether unwashed empty engine oil bottle (with clean residue engine oil), is safe to store petrol during emergencies (eg. when ran out of fuel)?

best if not as the oil *may* potentially clog your carb.

however, in the past/present theres been performance based product that does introduce lubricants within the fuel system for the purpose of lubricating the combustion chamber to smoothen/promote better sealing (or so they claim) valve operations/piston rings and thus better revs.

so it could possibly be ok, though if you can help it, better not would be my advice.

all that said, it also is a potential fire hazard storing petrol in non proper container. as the fumes/what not may leak out and depending on your ambient temp/heat, can potentially cause a fire.

not to mention, petrol being extremely volatile, your petrol would eventually stale/evaporate which kinda makes your intentions a little unfeasible.

Is there anything bad about over-tightening the battery fill caps, other than difficulty re-opening it later?
I suppose the vent holes are sufficient for pressure release right?
