Hi Albert, First of all thanks for all your advices for all of us sagawara folks.

Persistent Door Open Icon Lights Up
1. I went and replaced all the doors sensor except for the front bonnet (couldn't find it in Shopee), for boot i found out that its wasn't any sensor on the lock mechanism(probably removed by my mum years back),  however i do note that there is a connecting point in the lock mechanism for the sensor. Looked around the boot's lock for any loose wire, sadly didn't found any. cry.gif I only found wires for rear wiper, stop light and reverse lights. Is there any wiring diagram for the sensor for Iswara Aeroback. Currently i have to remove the 10amp Fuse to avoid continuous battery drain due to the icon lights up (which render my cabin light and clock to not working)

Engine sudden stop during driving
It happened twice.
1st time : was driving in normal speed (<80km/h), suddenly rpm dropped to 0 and everything was silence, i just kept throttling the pedal and it went back on. This happened in a period of under 5 second.

2nd time : Driving in lower speed since i was gonna turn left, sudden rpm dropped to 0 again, throttling fuel doesn't do anything, managed to glide the car to the road side. try to start the car but failed (NO CRANKING SOUND AT ALL). Manually push the car to a nearby battery shop (lucky me the shop is only 20meters away) notworthy.gif , the foreman asked me to start the car and it started normally in single crank  doh.gif (between engine stall and restart is around 5min. The foreman proceeded to check my alternator charge and battery, everything seems normal with alternator giving 13.7v rclxub.gif

Any advice is appericiated. notworthy.gif

had this problem, when going up hill last time, my car will suddenly lose all power and dead silence then turning back on while on moving will restart everything, happen few time, then my foreman added something , he said some booster, then it fix forever, already 9yrs no such problem anymore . my car saga lmst manual.

for the door lock alert still lighting up, can u try wrap sellotape in the door striker and then try close again. i had same problem, the rubber in door striker must worn off.

I have a question, if my car is running without leaks using tap water for a long time and suddenly after adding coolant there is a minor dripping leak when engine is hot what could cause this? The leak appears on the area roughly below distributor and drips 1 drip to the floor every couple of seconds when engine is hot. Cold and non pressurise engine doesn't exhibit any leak. The pooling of coolant on the floor is also limited small puddle. My suspicion this area appears to coincide with this coolant drain plug (for engine block) is just like the engine oil drain plug that can unscrew and remove coolant from engine block. My coolant input don't use this plug at all, everything just went in from radiators mouth.

Might it be that some rusts or dirt is sealing up the drain plug previously and now got dislodged by the coolant?

Should ignore this issue or need to ask mechanic to maybe tighten the nut or put gaskets / teflon etc but this will mean the engine block coolant will need to be drained off right?

All this assuming if the leak is from the said plug. As I not see any wet parts on any of the rubber hoses connection point within the vicinity so I suspect is the drain plug for engine block.

No significant coolant level reduction within radiator or reservoir tank. So perhaps the leak can safely ignore for now? Maybe if that plug gets lodged by dirt again it may seal up by itself?

Is RM100 a good price of a 2nd hand unused (but modified) Iswara bumper?

I found a second hand unit - unused but the previous owner modded it by punching some X shaped holes I think about 6m across near the part where there are foam, there were a total of 6 holes.

I can cover the holes with cutouts from the original bumper (the clips broke or the bumper plastic itself were damaged.

The previous owner say he was not able to install the bumper as the car got into an accident (story no make sense).

Background : I recently I bought a 1.5A Iswara sedan for my daughter after giving away my 1.3MT AB to a relative. The sedan externally look faded but internally (seats, engine looks good). Aircond got to repair though.
