I just applied for Maybank Islamic Ikhwan card to replace Maybankard 2 platinum cards(Amercan Express & Visa).
Just received today Maybank Islamic Ikhwan American Express and Maybank Islamic Ikhwan Visa Platinum cards.
On checking, I found both these Ikhwan Platinum cards do not have 5% Cash Back offer.
Only the Islamic MasterCard Ikhwan offer cash back.
Now I end up with 4 useless cards.
Pls advise what I should do with the Ikhwan Platinum cards?
Thank You

I supposed the Visa is Petronas Visa Ikhwan? sweat.gif
Er, looks like it was your mistake for applying the wrong card. Just cancel it and re-apply Maybank Ikhwan MasterCard?

Islamic product has the same shared credit limit.

Just request for 1 Mastercard if lazy to argue lo.

Go to Gardens and request for one?

Or can call in and ask one. Coz shared limit, not procedure.

Since already approved once.

is it normal for your date of transaction appeared as 1 day after your actual transaction? because i just received my card last thursday, and use it on friday and saturday to get the CB. unluckily for me, the both transaction date appear 1 day later than the actual date of transaction, which means my saturday transaction will not entitled me for CB. am i right?
*
Merchant has to do the settlement on every terminal daily and usually at night time as once this procedure are done, it will become next day already. So some are doing it late night. Is normal for posting date are always later than transaction date.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 7 2015, 10:08 AM)
It follows transaction date not posting date, so not to worry.

statement balance will always be showing your last statement amount.

once new statement is out (8 Oct), the statement balance will be reflected accordingly.

no need to clear ALL outstanding amount geh. just remember to clear statement amount by due date. the remaining outstanding (called Unbilled Outstsanding) will be "converted"/billed in your next bill (8 Oct).

Give it about 1 week before you call.

If you really want to know, try the maybank hotline and press some number with the automated caller thingy.

Free interest period for all credit cards is 20 days not one month. smile.gif
Your bill cycle is 9th of this month to 8th of next month.

Noob question here.

free interest is 20 days in bill cycle or from purchasing date?

e.g : bill cycle 9th of this month to 8th of next month.
purchase on 20th/oct. so i got 20days, or 8 day left?

It depends on the merchant. It can be posted today or tomorrow.
If it is posted after today, you get more free interest period as your due date will be 28th Nov. rclxms.gif

Sorry, I made a mistake. Your case is statement date on 8th. Your cycle is 8th of this month to 7th of next month.

So yeah, to answer to your question, purchase on early bill cycle. smile.gif

Of course but RM 1 = 1 point is nothing impressive.
