Hi I just called the CS and they told me have to submit the request from the branch. It is not possible to do it via the phone due to change the card category. May I know if your case just done via phone only? Thx

It's not ridiculous at all. It's very normal.
The branch is not card dept. No authority on credit card matters. Therefore they need to submit the downgrade application to card dept for approval.
Same goes to the card dept has no authority to approve say down grade of your priority banking account to normal banking account.

No no no u dont need their approval but their processing and update it. Unless if you want to upgrade which is beyond your limit as you need provide supporting documents. Dont get confuse with it. Processing and Approval is totally different,

Cancelled the card yesterday due to AF coming up and no question was asked.

Visa only charging 1-3% while we are getting 8.25%(if you spend every month rm1000 sharp).
They are expecting you to spend more to dilute the cash back.

For credit card usage, they are expecting us to spend as much as possible.
But then with all the stupid T&Cs, most people will only spend rm1000 sharp on this card. Even I brain wash my uncle to get this card(monthly on fuel alone > rm1000).

Erm... very subjective.

In my opinion, those filthy rich may just get a premier card like Maybank and earn for the Enrich miles to get a better returns.
This cash rebate they will overlook it as it does not benefit them much.

Rich if following rules maybe yes, but rich by using illegal ways nope. They will use cash to hide from being detected.
