QUOTE(victorywp @ Oct 3 2014, 02:58 PM) yes, supp card's bill is paid by main card holder. I think he want to use someone else's name (let's say his brother) as supp card under him.what's your question in the first place? you want to apply under someone's name, which means you want to apply as a supp card holder under a main card holder, that's your question, no? if yes, of course the main card holder need to present. |

QUOTE(akh2920 @ Nov 3 2014, 02:29 PM) Thanks. Hmm too make it clearer: You're not understading them well, the cashback on 28th October is for September spending not October spending.Let's say the scenario is like this. I've received RM99 cashback on 28th OCT. Then pumped RM50 petrol on 29th and posted at 30th. 1. Would the RM50 petrol occupy cash back quota (RM100 cap) of october? or november? 2. Hence can I get RM1 cb (oct) or RM5 cb (nov)? Or it just disappears? Appreciate any opinions If posted by 30th it will be added to the rest of your october spending and cashback. You will get that in November. If its put in your November amount you will only get it in December. |

QUOTE(supersound @ Nov 3 2014, 02:48 PM) The Cash-Back credits may or will be utilized towards any outstanding balances due on the account. For the avoidance of doubt, any Cash-Back due to the Cardholder will be posted in the credit card There's been no change in that T&C, what are you talking about? Simply says cashback will be reflected in your statement as long the day it is due (fixed 27th) is before your statement date. If your statement date is 26th then it will appear in the next month.account on the 28th of the following month and reflected in the Cardholder’s Statement. In the event the Cash-Back due to the Cardholder falls on or after the date of the Cardholder’s Statement, the Cash-Back will only be reflected in the Cardholder’s Statement in the next following month. Looks like the beefed up their T&C to be more in favor to them Initially it is following posting date, then transaction posting date. |

Just paid my WISE bill (due date today). Just only noticed that 'minimum payment' shows RM0. Checked back statement (from late last month) it says minimum payment RM50 and statement amount RM7++.
From what I can tell, they counted the cash back as payment, as it says the 'last payment amount' is RM58 (I got RM100 cashback, RM42 + RM58 in 2 categories). Does this mean I can actually pay RM100 less than statement amount (RM6++)? Anyone done this before? |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Nov 26 2014, 10:39 PM) Finally had the chance to read through the first page. 10 times of retail swipe with minimal of RM 50/swipe every month. Split bill or payonline to split your electricity bill to multiple parts =)I can swipe more than RM 500 per month but not 10 times.. Sigh, looks like I will need to give this a pass. The 10% is attractive though. |

Is payonline working for anyone today? After entering credit card details the VISA verification page just stops loading.

QUOTE(echoesian @ Nov 28 2014, 05:24 PM) Just swiped at Aeon Big today to enjoy the 5% rebate on every 28th of a month promotion. But just worry if the transaction only posted on next Monday which is already 1-Dec. This is my 10th transaction on Nov, I don't want to miss it just because I miss this transaction. HLB update quite slow, I think you will totally miss it already. Need to plan well on this card.I lost out RM20 rebate this month because payonline down since yesterday so only manage RM800 spending. Sad, its been so reliable the past few months. |

QUOTE(supersound @ Nov 28 2014, 05:57 PM) Case by case I would say on your case. Why you always state so sure? Think HLB got staff purposely delay or speed-up transaction posting? If this is your 10th transaction, it will be on next month, so you get 0 cash back. If you already full filled the requirement, then it may fall in this month. But it will be posted on this month also if you maxed out the quota. Other cards you can try your luck, but not this card. Already missed out some transactions when I got the card for the first 6 months. So for the peace of mind, always maxed out the quota by third week every month to get full rm100 of cash back. |

QUOTE(supersound @ Dec 2 2014, 10:57 PM) Basically I got it "waived". Just cancel the card then. Otherwise it is unfair you enjoy the advantage but always discouraging new reader of thread from applying. But they will choose the card holder to waive. They won't call you and you no need to call them, they just waive it. But GST still have to pay. That's why I never call this as WISE card, it is STUPID card with following reasons : 1. actual cash back are 8.25%, not 10% 2. every category you choose won't really give you cash back 3. overseas spending sure can't get cash back 4. card center won't help when you have question 5. posting date also not consistent especially reaching end of the month This card is a big hassle, and the very specific MCC means have to check exactly on where you're spending (same as OCBC Titanium last time). But the cash back is best by far (5% + 2% effective TP is next best). Very clear you have issue with HLB. No problem, your choice. But don't discourage other forumers from getting the card and earning the benefits when you yourself enjoying the benefits. |
