Anyone knows how come this HLB Wise Credit card comes in combo?

I applied for Wise card only, but was given GSC card as well which I don't need.
Now I've 2 cards (Wise + GSC)

Worst thing is I'm unable to terminate the GSC card itself - if wanna terminate have to terminate both.

Got such things?

Nope, certainly not because of the free gifts.
And I didn't know there's this combo package until I called up their helpline just now.

I knew I opted for Wise Card only during application time as I'm a CashBack user.

Any suggestion on how can I solve this matter?

the reason i asked is because there's a certain free gift offered only meant for the combo cards.
which means if you take the free gift, you are actually applying for 2 cards.

of course, no matter what, the salesperson is at the wrong side for either:
1) ticked another card for you without your acknowledgement
2) never inform you about the free gift that comes with 2 cards application

what you can do now is to report to hlb (or even to bnm) to take action against the unethical salesperson.

Another victim of bad credit card salesman. Ticked the comdo for you to earn extra commission.

What you can do now is complaint 9 9 and request for re-submit or cancel the gsc card.

One interesting fact. There is no GSC cinema in Johor but HLB still promote this combo there.This is really not so wise !

When I applied, the sales lady did ask me whether want to take up this combo package. She told me once we take the combo, we cannot cancel either one. So, for your case, I would say it is totally depends on the person you met while applying CC. Call CS to look for solution.

There is actually value in the GSC card if I'm not mistaken... will deduct when you purchase movie tickets.

yeah, that's how the gsc rebate works for this cc. it's not direct cashback/discount upon purchase.

Yeah, I've launched a complaint thru their helpline and they've escalated to the relevant dept.
Awaiting for their feedback in 4 working days time.

Let's see how HLB gonna solve this kinda issue.

If you like movies, the extra GSC card is very worthy. They will waive the GST every year (only one GST for the wise card), annual fees (RM150) waived if swipe > 12 times/ year or you can even call to waive it. It preloaded with cash value for movie. For eg. I got 2 tickets of Robocop movie for only RM5.25 (which charge on this card, of course the cash value will expired in 1 year if not used)
In conclusion, it wasn't much of drawback to just take that card anyway.

Go to the nearest branch to get it done. I tried online application previously. You can wait upto months and still pending.... And make sure you apply the gold one instead of the platinum one.

Are you sure just one GST charge for wise+GSC? For me, the 12 swipe amount will be better to use with others better reward card like amex or watami.
