HV what free gift?

should be the same free gifts as what i mentioned for the ioi mall (because that's the current promo gifts). but the only thing is we not sure hlb wise booth still have the booth at the giant at usj 1.

kopiPeng how's your wise application at ioi mall? just wondering whether you received the free gifts as i mentioned? or you get samsonite backpack? or other than these?

hi sifus... just wanna check, how do we know of the MCC code for the merchant? bought iphone from maxis centre at lowyat plaza... not sure of the MCC code tho, dont wanna waste the rebate.. in my online statement, it is listed as:

MAXIS CENTRE-LOW YAT KUALA LUMPUR MY

bought iphone entitle for cb ?

only mobile bills entitle right ?

i believe as long as it is swiped under mobile telco

why dont you call HLB and ask for the MCC?

i always do that whenever i swipe at new locations/merchants that I have doubt.

Maxis centre should be OK.
But if let say you paid RM1k devise advance payment to Maxis in one single swipe, you still need 9 x >RM50 to qualify for CB. As a result, your cash back % effectively reduce to 6.8% only.
If you pay by MBB2Amex during weekend, you can yield about the same rebate as Wise card but you don't have to concern about MCC code and no need 9x >RM50 additional swipes.

just went to different branch and applied wise card, got a free gsc voucher.

btw, if take wise+gsc combo, the staff told me that gsc credit card inside got RM60 inside, and dont need to pay annual fee and gst for it.
cause its wise+gsc combo, even though 2 cards, its consider as 1 credit card only.
pay annual fee+ gst for wise is considered paying annual fee+gst for gsc card ady.

Better check the black and white TnC from HLB website. Some like you said GSC is totally free card, some said free for 1st year only, some reported need to pay both AF and GST on renewal, some said pay GST only on renewal, so many versions.

agree. staff is telling pretty stories but their black&white T&Cs is conflicting.

yeah, that's why i asked the staff again with more serious tone, then only she said will checked with her colleague, if got dispute, she choose WISE card only for me.

Just paid my WISE bill (due date today). Just only noticed that 'minimum payment' shows RM0. Checked back statement (from late last month) it says minimum payment RM50 and statement amount RM7++.

From what I can tell, they counted the cash back as payment, as it says the 'last payment amount' is RM58 (I got RM100 cashback, RM42 + RM58 in 2 categories).

Does this mean I can actually pay RM100 less than statement amount (RM6++)? Anyone done this before?

I went giant usj 1 again last week, the booth is no longer there.

the staff just collected docs from me.
and she confirmed~ly told me that both Wise and GSC card got annual fee, but GST only apply to Wise.

and to waive GSC, need to swipe 12 times per year and call to cs to ask for waiver...
