If you set wallpaper to center, and the wallpaper its self is higher res than your screen monitor how would it crop properly?

Would be helpful to share your screen res as well.

I am referring to the UI glitch at wallpaper setting. the preview somehow overlaps with he drop down menu when I choose 'çentre'.

Clean and restart.

Yes doing that wont fix your brightness disabled issue

As explained earlier, if you have upgraded from previous Windows (7/8.1), then you can format anytime without using any key on the same upgraded PC.

When prompted to insert product key, just press "Skip" and it will automatically activated itself after boot into Windows if you are connected to the Internet.

Let say my HDD spoil and i would start from scratch.
It would take time if i need to format Window 8 first then upgrade to Windows 10.
So my question, just format direct to Windows 10 using key i get from AIDA64 "WITHOUT" install and upgrade from Windows 8..

It seems like you don't get my point.

Once you have upgraded, you can clean install anytime on the same PC (same motherboard, HDD/SSD/GPU etc can change), the key you get from AIDA64 is a generic key, everyone who upgraded from Windows 7/8.1 will get the same key, it is not your unique Windows 10 key.

After I upgraded to win10 from win8.1, I downloaded the update for Intel using ASUS software, and the brightness control came back.
After that, I downloaded another update I think is something called NVIDIA VGA if I'm not mistaken, windows stucked at loading screen ever since, my guess is the new driver is not compatible with win10, or because I did not do a clean up before updating the drivers.

Now trying to fresh install win10, may I ask if I do fresh installation after cleaning up the OS partition, do I still need to do this driver clean up before I update my drivers?

no you don't need to. it starts fresh, with nothing in the way.

if you're on intel platform, when you update drivers, always install intel-related drivers first, especially the correct intel chipset (inf) driver.

edit: officially, this is what get sent to ms when you activate your copy of w10:

It's your connection issue. Check with your ISP. I had that once while using win7 and it turns out someone tried to hack into my unifi.

Which ASUS software do you mean ? I downloaded Intel Graphics drier for my asus laptop , finally the brightness control update...I tried to update the Nvidia driver to the latest version , but it didn't work...
I also noticed that Asus Splendid Utility doesn't wrk well in win 10 ...The Vivid mode didn't work.

I upgraded on last saturday, activate it online and immediately "refresh this pc". Haven't have any problems. Just the hassle of re-installing drivers and most used programs. But it was worth it. Thumbs up!
