Did anyone come across the error saying "Something Happened" when selecting upgrade from the Creation Tool?

I cant change any language when choosing the Upgrade This PC method. All it does is just show a loading icon, then "Something Happened".

But first change your region and language to US.

Upgrade option. It will keep all your files and setting. Even if you perform clean install you can still be able to find it in windows.old folder

Its the installation process IMO. A lot of stupid error's. By far the most complicated windows to install/upgrade. If only they could send it the way they did using windows 8.1 through the app store would be so much better.

In my case, the downloading process got stucked at Preparing for installation lol.

For the rest that has this same prob, Take the OS files from the $Windows folder, copy the files to a folder. Restart yo PC and run the setup.exe from the new folder, because the files in the $Windows folder will automatically delete itself after a reboot.

From there onward should be straight forward process to install.

Yes and all the other software's that you installed by yourself that did not come pre-installed.
