I can see what is BR trying to do, i liked it and i see it in the team. I will give time for BR to show what he has got. But of coz there is limit if it doesnt work, then someone will come in with another idea.

Yeah, not calling for BR's head for now, it's mid season. Just that how Soton picked themselves up after we raided their 'stars' was quite an eye opener.

BR needs to tinker around with what he has now and not being too rigid with his tactics.

If all fails, he could get Moyesed at the end of the season but who knows if John Henry lost his patience then it could be earlier than that. Time will tell.

Before starting of the season, i mentioned the transfer is crucial for him & liverpool. He needs to get the right players while Suarez confirmed he will be staying.

Linked with so many good players but non of them came. Dunno whats the story behind but of coz these good players could crap as well.

The question most need to ask themselves is does one forget how to play football ? or they are trying to play a system that the manager expects them too?


Honestly I believe in the latter, a simple example is reina who for several reasons kept clean sheets for the team, yet many said he lost his mojo. We change a supposedly better keeper, yet the opposition(s) continues to punch thru goals the same manner what was critisized of reina.

When gerrard houllier came to Liverpool esp when he became the sole manager (not as joint manager), he knew how poor Liverpool was then but made to play basics. Defend.

It was often gawd awful to watch but he was slowly craving results. He knew he would eventually had us perform the way to win throphies . Sure some of us still hated houllier's football but he did fight to ensure Liverpool makes a about turn in fortunes.

A lot of ex players gave raving reviews of Rodgers last season because it reminded them of the old Liverpool and OF when Liverpool plays beautify fast attacking football. Remember the spice boys ? Jaime redknapp, fowler and gang were scoring almost at will.. That's the Liverpool many were happy to see Rodgers Liverpool. Not houllier, not steewpeed rafa's Liverpool team.

Lets sign a marquee manager in January instead.

Newcastle has been playing conservative at st James yet our blunt attack couldn't give them any threat... I blame Brendan for his attacking and defending setup... Why on earth still play with lone striker, why the whole team passing like school kid level, are they playing a fool around in melwood? Why choose Mignolet when jones look more like a proper keeper... Poor judgement in the air, can't take goal kick, can't make long throw to initiate counter attack... Yes he made a one-on-one save from a POOR effort by Newcastle player... Balotelli can only do so much when the midfielders are not giving him any supplies the whole match...

Henry should pressure BR, spent 90M+ but couldn't deliver good perfomance.
IMHO, BR has no clue how to handle his new line up and feel sorry for Balo, he didnt get enough ball from other players. i would say Liverpool will sack BR by end of this year if he couldn't deliver good perfomance

We bought the best and the captain of Soton last year to sit on the bench. BR really is clueless and no balls. Same tactic, same players, same results. I can't see him beyond this season.

Everyone already said Balo doesn't work with lone striker, as well as the team currently, yet, BR stubbornly put the same formation every match.

How many time that criticism about 4-5-1, 4-3-3 doesn't work with current set up and personnel?
Set aside how poor the new BR's recruit is.

No people want to win anything here, but the performance was simply awful, that's where the criticism about BR.
Criticism /= calling for sack, it is a wake up call for the manager to rectify something obvious not right at the moment.
It is not one match or two of poor performance, but series of matches since the season started.

This is the second time, Moreno made a "school boy" error in defending, very similar to first one in the early season.
Aka try to control ball in six yard area, but ball being robbed by opponent.

Just no long ago, the manager speaking of no need a proper defending coach...
