Hi. You can refer to this link for the information and form to download. http://creditbureau.bnm.gov.my/reportobtain.html

for my case, my wife house at melaka and I'm working in KL (last time working in melaka). So I can request the CCRIS online. If you stay in certain state where they have the BNM branch, you have to go to the branch personally to get the report according to the link above. (Melaka don't have any branch, so they have to reply me via email)
BNM branch available in KL, Pulau Pinang, Johor Bahru, Kuala Terengganu, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching. Other than this, all can apply online.

Method I used,
1. download the request form Form
2. send via email to bnmtelelink@bnm.gov.my
3. email attached with IC photocopy, 2 bills/CC/bank statement with your name and address and the request form.
4. they will manual reply you within a day for processing.
5. received encrypted report within a week
6. call them to get the password to decrypt the report.
7. reply them with CCRIS Akuan penerimaan
8. If needed, reapply every 3 months to review.

Note:
- Because most my CC bill with melaka address (most are eStatement anyway). So I still using melaka address.
- It's free of charge.
- For loan declaration form, it actually in the same request form under different section. Request form has 3 section - application, loan declaration and dispute. I didn't really fill up the loan declaration.

anyone can request online
my address is in Subang Jaya, Selangor and I requested for my CCRIS online last yr

Usually the amount in BT bank is in term of monthly outstanding repayment amount. You can BT this amount but it's meaningless and subjective to min amount you can BT to Bank B.

I'm going to try out the Maybank balance transfer thingie, seems like a good deal.

Out of curiosity, how does Maybank make money from this? If Maybank were to absorbed my debts from another bank and let's say I pay up on time for the next 12 months, the bank does not make any money at all?

Cheers guys and to you guys who are doing BT, hope we can clear off all of our crazy debts.

And plus they are doing this during the shopping/spending period. From September to March, from Christmas to CNY, before GST. Like previous posters mentioned, they are banking on us consumer to default.

Assuming the cost of fund for Maybank is 3%, giving out this BT loan will only cost MBB 1.5% p.a. because the BT will be repaid in 12 monthly installments.
Maybank just need to bet on less than 10% of the BT customers will pay the minimum amount, so that the normal 1.5% to 1.8% p.m. Interest can be charged upon card members in order to break even and make profit.

The same goes to the card member who place the BT money for 12 months 4% FD and repay Mbb promptly every month. The card member actually getting effective interest of 2% pa. only.
BT 50K and put in 12 mths 4% FD with only yield you rm1k interest effectively. But it is free money, why not.  thumbup.gif

1) you owe bank A cc rm1k
2) you bt to bank B cc rm10k (overpayment)
3) call bank A to get the overpayment of rm9k to be transferred to your casa

Guys, quick question regarding the Maybank BT.

I read this on their FAQ:

QUOTE
No early settlement fee will be charge.
All outstanding monthly instalments
together with the interest/management fee shall
become immediately due and payable.

I don't get the part in blue. I intend to BT a small amount to my Maybank Card, but don't want to be tied to the 12 months installment. Will pay it off as soon as I people start paying me back money owed. But I don't want to be slapped with some (hidden) early settlement fee.
