I'm going to try out the Maybank balance transfer thingie, seems like a good deal.
Out of curiosity, how does Maybank make money from this? If Maybank were to absorbed my debts from another bank and let's say I pay up on time for the next 12 months, the bank does not make any money at all?
Cheers guys and to you guys who are doing BT, hope we can clear off all of our crazy debts.

QUOTE(David83 @ Dec 1 2014, 04:11 PM) I have asked that question before. They're hoping that you default! That's what I thought too, on top of that they gambling it with a year. Damn banks! Got to love them and hate them at the same time.

QUOTE(bearbear @ Dec 1 2014, 04:38 PM) i have 12k debt suddenly i can pay 1k a month only, spend more -> bigger hole for you to jump whoever that came up with this is a genius And plus they are doing this during the shopping/spending period. From September to March, from Christmas to CNY, before GST. Like previous posters mentioned, they are banking on us consumer to default.
