wow, my latest BT installment already included in MBB latest statement balance
but the one time charge and reversal still no where to be seen yet, also it just exceeded 90% of my total CL (total outstanding now 90.8%)
*
My recent BT also don't have the one time charge and then credit back the amount into the account.

How do bank calculate maximum credit limit on a CC ?

A bank agent told me that I only can do maximum balance transfer about
3-4 X (the salary). Is it true ?

Depends on bank, some are generous some are not. My experience is RHB very generous. May varies between 2.5x to 6x from my experience. Yes RHB gave me 6x.

your question is about maximum cl or maximum bt?

maximum cl is as explained above, maximum bt is about 80%-90% of your cl.

I think MBB decide not to do it... I still receive the "Balance Transfer Approval Letter" by snail mail.

Hi guys, i need a card for BT, for handle my spending on wedding.

I checked the 1st page of the thread, saw Public Bank has "Plan C - 24 mths, 5% fee, 0% interest, Min - RM 3k per bank"

Can I actually apply Public Bank Esso Mobil Visa Gold for BT ?

If I swipe RM 10k from other cc, i BT to PB cc, and choose Plan C, then i just have to pay the 5% fee of the RM 10k right ?

Yes but why do you want to pay 5%? Go for 0%, unless you are not able to pay back within 6 / 12 months.

Thanks for fast response.

So it is better for me to take "Plan A - 6 mths, 0% fee, 0% interest, Min - RM 5k per bank" first, if i really cannot handle the monthly installment then baru choose other plan with fee charges right ?
