I am using
AMD Ryzen 2700x
RAM - 32gb 3200 mhz Gskill Flare-X (AMD compatible)
Samsung Evo 960 1TB nvme M.2
EVGA 1080TI SC 2 Gaming 2x - SLI mode
Aorus Gigabyte Gaming 5 (X470)
Viewsonic 32" 2K monitor 3x (triple setup) monitor all plug into 1st graphic card.
PSU: 1200W thermaltake 80+ Platinum RGB
I am having issues with windows 10 up to date, using latest nvidia driver, clean install windows.
My
monitor flickers now and then randomly across all 3 monitors mostly the middle monitor,
Now i m testing removing the 2nd graphic card to see if the flickering still occurs
if it doesnt, then i will swap the 2nd graphic card to first slot and test it as well, if both graphic card alone doesnt flickers.
then it narrows down either motherboard or windows 10 is having issue with Ryzen and SLI.
anyone have this issue before? care to share ?
previously when i slot in 2 GPU , there is no SLI mode (tried buying new HB bridge/ reinstall os, install windows ) for me until I flash the bios to the latest bios then the SLI mode appear but Ethernet (invalid ip) appeared and i cant connect internet no matter what the wifi / ethernet couldnt connect to internet
i opt to do the clean install above (after flashing bios) and everything was fine except the flickering issue.
during 1 gpu , never experience any flickering but when dual GPU the flickering keep on occurring
Hope some Ryzen Master can advice, this is my first time going AMD and this happened...
i think you better change to asus motherboard, i found that gigabyte and msi didn't support 2700x processor.
Luckily i not choose this 2 brand for my 2700x system. Asrock not confirmed
btw one channel tested msi and gigabyte motherboard is not function at 2700x, only asus can run the 2700x
