QUOTE(gogo2 @ Jan 18 2015, 09:28 AM) Is that 599rmb ? That is around 350myr. Quite about right price. Thanks. Of coz la... shipping + middle man service ma. Seems like shipping is 999rmb. If AMD malaysia bring in this item... It should be approx 370RM. newegg selling this item for 98USD. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819113371 or you should wait for the new "kaveri refresh" APU - A6-7400k. I doubt that they will bring this item. Hope Lisa Su manage AMD well. |

I m content with A8-7600 HTPC build. APU for gaming still a long way to go. unless AMD come up with super advance memory controller, it might defeat core I5..

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Jan 19 2015, 03:24 PM) HTPC? I just build mine with A68N-5000 mobo that include a A4-5000 CPU. I'm also very happy. No stutter etc. Some more I can use Bio Remote 2 from my phone as remote control. Unfortunely it has no CEC. there is no HSA accelerated game available.. AMD hyped too well, no wonder u got disappointed. Frankly, I'm disappointed. I think A10 APU is awesome based on spec sheet. |

QUOTE(goldfries @ Jan 19 2015, 02:53 PM) Most games do work with Hybrid Crossfire BUT BUT BUT Hybrid Crossfire is no where near as fast as a dedicated graphics card. too bad carrizo apu only for mobile market. For example, an FX-4300 processor (RM 399) and R7 250 (RM 289) total cost is less than RM 800, costs far less than A10-7850K crossfire with R7 240 DDR3. Again, I think the APU has potential. It's niche and it will be great once the technology gets into momentum. Here's the FX APU performance |

QUOTE(chocobo7779 @ Mar 17 2015, 02:43 PM) I bought it(retail box ver) about 500RM (Taobao price + shipping + proxy service charges) from china to my house last year December. Now, I think its more expensive due our weaker currency values. BTW, I would to complain about the stock cooler.. its small & HOT(58 - 67C, non OC)!!! |

QUOTE(S4PH @ May 24 2015, 01:17 PM) The Way it means to be PAID!!!Any PC game with Gameworks, PhyscX sure will cripple AMD's cards. Not to mention the incoming Batman - Arkham Knight. funny thing about the witcher3, the Titan card which cost 1kUSD run slower than the GTX960... Lets see how NVidia going to deal with Titan card users.. :lol This post has been edited by yhsiau: May 24 2015, 02:02 PM |

QUOTE(Songchien @ Mar 14 2018, 05:32 PM) Intel is busy fixing their products meltdown & spectre messes.. It gained nothing from AMD flaws, except laughing at AMD. someone might gain from sell short of AMD's shares by making bad products news. Too good to be true... for the ryzen 3000 processor, I don't have to ditch my asus C7H for the incoming asus C8XXX motherboard to get PCie 4.0 feature. |

QUOTE(SoFarSoFail @ Mar 6 2019, 11:04 AM) Hi guys, if u can wait til end of july, you *might* able to get Ryzen 3000 series products.. which is faster & more energy efficient than current 2000 series of processors. I'm currently selecting parts to build an AMD Ryzen 2 gaming rig for my brother. Need your comments before I proceed on purchasing the parts. Budget RM5k Theme red black No plan to OC Must be as quite as possible Only on 1080p CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 2600X MOBO - MSI X470 Gaming Plus GPU - MSI GTX 1660 Ti Gaming X 6G RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 3000MHz C15 Red SSD - SAMSUNG 860 EVO 500GB PSU - Corsair RM650X CASE - Phanteks Eclipse P400S SE Black/Red if no plan to OC, B450 motherboard is good enough, X470 MB is mean for OC. Ryzen likes fast memory, G skill flare X 3200mhz C14 may be better than the 1 which you listed above. This post has been edited by yhsiau: Mar 6 2019, 10:17 PM |
