I mean now is 16GB, but after 2 years maybe need 32GB so now should go (a)2x8GB or (b)1x16GB first then later 2 year go with another (a)2x8GB or add (b)1x16GB
*
What we try to say, you may no need 32GB even after 2 years, 16GB are more than enough biggrin.gif unless you do some unusually high workload like running 10 Android emulator laugh.gif
so just get 2 x 8GB for dual channel.

2 x 8 gb is definitely enough for now. I'm waiting to buy HyperX predator 2x8GB 3200mhz as my single 8GB 2133mhz is really bottlenecking my 1600x gaming performance.

Check if your mobo/processor can run that speed, not just compatible but can it OCed to it.
Mine 1700 + Asrock X370 Killer SLI combo, with TridentZ RGB 3200, I cant get it stable above 3000, running 2933 only even with 1.35V
I think first gen Ryzen RAM compatibility really sucks.

i had issue with my combo 1700 + msi b350m mortar as well with Trident Z 3200 (not rgb one).
windows boot up fine, but randomly BSOD.
i tot bcoz i played with the vcore / cpu frequency, but kept happening even when everything at default.

end up test stable at 2933mhz.
some ppl suggest to set Ram volt to 1.35v instead of auto.
now working fine so far no bsod laugh.gif

ps~ updating bios could work or cause bug too.
i had no issue before updating to latest bios, no bsod running at 3200mhz .
also the vcore reading on new bios on auto was quite high at 1.3+volt.

Used section should have quite a few. smile.gif New units at shop, I think near impossible but you can try your luck. Who knows some shops have old stock.

Will the stores still give 1 year warranty? Or everything up to supplier?

Regarding very old stock of mobo from the stores. Usuallu newer stock they give store warranty 1 year with supplier watranty 3-5 years. For old stock of obsolete hardware, do they give more than 3 months store warranty?

As far I know, Gigabyte too have a itx mobo, and it looks slick imo, I`ve been a itx lover ever since I bought my Corsair 380T

Just got my first RGB ram. HyperX Predator 8GB 3200mhz.

Loaded XMP profile and runs fine on 3200mhz. Can also overclock to 3466mhz. Have not tried further.

Running a single stick. At 3200mhz, AC Odyssey benchmark saw +4 fps against a single stick 2133mhz (38fps vs 42fps).

At 3466mhz, SOTR benchmark saw +5 fps against single 2133mhz (48fps vs 53fps).

My setup: Ryzen 1600x at 3.8ghz, Sapphire nitro+ RX570, Asrock AB350 ITX.

Not bad. Will start to budget for 2nd stick. biggrin.gif
