Any update about B350 stock and price? Or there is no Ryzen mobo available in Bolehland?

Many shops have stock already. People already bring Ryzen rigs home.

Lelong got plenty of stocks. Even at lowyat also stocks already in.

But im still waiting for minor issues to be fixed before purchasing it.

Planning to get 1700, normal cooler can only reach 3.7GHz. Worst part, may not have 3rd party cooler available now.
Just went Rextech Cheras, they had to use zip tie with current available cooler

MSI and Gigabyte got, but may need to preorder ?

Was aiming Asrock X370 killer SLI / AC but heard bolehland not bring in

Haha, the parts will come la, so be patient.
For now, need to be satisfied with the bundled cooler.

1. Get now ( asrock X370 killer SLI and use Wraith Spire stock cooler )

2. Wait more ( MSI B350 tomahawk arctic and water cooler with AM4 bracket ) shop sales told me there is arctic version eventhough website not listed.

I should worded it properly.
Don't feel like asking retailer/etailer everyday about the board availability. I'm looking for Asrock B350 boards.

The Windows Scheduler will need an update but that alone will not cure the gaming performance deficit of Ryzen 8-core part. This probably will affect the 6-cores as well and it really depends whether the 4-core variants will be affected or not depending on how AMD choose to bin it.

No cure for the latency between the 2 CCXs but they seem to believe that overclocking memory might reduce the latency.

Performance increase in games will have to come out of game developers on how they assign the threads across the 2 CCXs.

If the quad cores are made of single CCX, will be interesting to see how it matches with the i5 and i7 quadcores. Its really looking like the Broadwell-E/ Kaby lake situation on AMD side as well. 8 cores great in productivity and all round with deficit on gaming. Quad cores great for gaming mediocre in everything else. *My prediction nonetheless.

This one for sure. As of now, 3 boards with me and I refuse to review them yet.

Tempting to upgrade my current i5 3570k to Ryzen.

As for gaming at 1080p resolution, will there be a cpu bottleneck for R7 1700 + GTX 1080? AFAIK, 1080p will be mostly cpu bottleneck due to GTX 1080 pushing more framerates than cpu can handle. But Ryzen have 8cores/16 threads.
I need some otai2 to explain more about this.

My aim is to push as many fps as I can get with my next build for 144Hz @ 1080p resolution.

Want to push FPS then it's Intel processor.

Ryzen works differently, while it doesn't give you max FPS, the additional cores would be helpful if you are doing live streaming of your games session.

If you stick to 1080P, then use your i5 K series, overclock it and profit Save the money for either Cannonlake or Ryzen refresh ?
Most game cant utilize 8C/16T properly yet.

Temperature sensor are reporting +20 degree C on Ryzen chips.

Ya, the new AM4 board doesnt just support Ryzen, it can use with APU processor as well.
