If the drop is caused by technical-related issue, i am okay with it but if its fundamentally-related like what is happening right now to the Bursa Malaysia, i surrender..

The current bearish market is highly caused by the global uncertainties over the economy outlook.

Even unit trusts are starting to see tremendous drop this month..

Would like to ask the dividen given by fixed fund is similiar to share? Dividend only given base on the balance unit you have that instant?
E.g. 1000 unit brought on 1/1/2013, another 1000 unit brought on 1/6/2014. Dividend date = 1/7/2014. Total dividend 6% x 2000 unit? Means date of purchase is not crucial? Will it pro-rate the dividend calculation?

nope, not similar to share.. if share u buy before ex-date can get full dividend..

ASx fund (fixed price). they would pro-rated the dividend.

example if divvy on Aug. u buy in Jan. So Feb until Aug only (the amount u bought on Jan)...

at 1st I thought market correction, but now looks like something big.. another 2008/2009 history?

oil price low due to over-stocking...some major players somewhere is putting everyone's life at risk by playing the russian roulette.

I bought ASG twice in Sept & last week. Drop drop drop. Don't know when to buy again for CA.

if u got unlimited bullets, can top-up anytime.. if limited, then best to wait for some stability..
